"We never got to stay here as despite a confirmed reservation it was full. The owner never answered the phone and expedia still haven't handled a refund or explained why its taking so long or why their comms is terrible eithet. Its been 6 days... we did have to find somewhere else to stay, in the early evening with 2 hungry kids. Quite stressful!"

"It is absolutely the best house we have rented in the last 15 years. The reality is much, much better than the pictures. You are greeted by an amazing outdoor environment with several parasols, sunbeds, and stylish, fresh outdoor furniture. "The house is modern, bright, clean and comfortable, and well equipped. Six of us had plenty of space. The pool is great, and though the beach is small and not very clean it was good to be right by the sea. The location is remote, about 5km from Kyllini in a small development. This area of Greece is undeveloped and rural, the landscape flat. Kyllini is for ferries to the islands, and has some restaurants, but we found it much nicer to eat at the house. "In the Theoxenia Hotel, 1960 is alive and well and wants you back. It is a stunning (or bizarre) display of mid-century aesthetic. The rooms in the newer hall have been revitalized and overhauled. They are fine if not luxurious. Hot water is fine, and the breakfast buffet quite good. It has a nice location near the lagoons. All in all, good or very good. Go for the architecture. "

"I recommend this beautiful property for longer stays as it is far from the city but near a beautiful beach on the Ionian sea. Our host, Leonidas, was gracious and came to meet us in the town of Lappa or so we could find the property with long curving driveway. We stayed almost a week and wish we could have had longer. Day trips by car to Olympia, Temple of Apollo, Patra, and island of Zakynthos from Killini were easily managed. Located in/near a huge national park the forest of umbrella trees...
