About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Centrally located with fully fenced backyard!

Centrally located home with a fully fenced backyard, just minutes from downtown Kalispell! You’ll enjoy private use of the entire house. The 3 Bedroom, 1 bathroom house has everything your family will need. The private fire pit is perfect for you and your family to roast marshmallows after a day of exploring Glacier National Park. This property offers a closeness to a variety of activities all year long. From hiking and boating in the summer to snowshoeing and skiing in the winter.

Enter the home into a large dining area with a coffee bar and a large dining table that sits 6 people. To the right through the dining area, you will enter the spacious living room. Here you can watch your favorite movies while relaxing after a day of exploring Kalispell. To the left you will find three bedrooms and one full bathroom. The first bedroom contains a King bed. The second one contains a queen-sized bed. The last bedroom contains a single sized bed. The full bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub. We provide you with bodywash, shampoo, and conditioner. Straight ahead from the entrance, you will find the kitchen. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with all you will need to prepare your own meals. We include basic spices, coffee, sugar, creamer, and cooking oil. You will find plenty of pots, pans, silverware, cups, wine glasses, and mixing bowls. There is also a microwave and dishwasher. The laundry area contains both washer and dryer. We provide detergent and fabric softener!
Outside enjoy full privacy with our fully fenced backyard! Here you will find a few outdoor toys for the kids and a trampoline with a safety net. Use at your own risk. There is also a grill and a firepit; the perfect way to end your evening after spending the day at Glacier National Park, or at one of the many lakes, rivers, or streams in the area. If you stay during the right time, we also have a strawberry patch where you can pick a few strawberries to enjoy!

The Area:
Downtown Kalispell:
Downtown Kalispell is only 1.5 miles away from the house. Founded by Charles E. Conrad back in the late 1800’s; this historic downtown has much to offer, including many shops and great places to dine.

Woodland Park & Woodland Water Park:
Only 3 miles from the house is Woodland Park. This is a perfect place for the family. This park offers a playground, skatepark, walking paths, and ponds filled with waterfowl. Here you and your family can also visit the Woodland Water Park. This water park contains two 3-story waterslides, a lazy river, and a zero-depth entry perfect for younger children.

Foy Lake and Lone Pine State Park:
Only 5 miles away is Foy Lake and Lone Pine State Park. This lake is just minutes away from Kalispell and stocked with rainbow trout. It allows fishing, swimming, and boating. Lone Pine State Park has 7.5 miles of trails you can hike, snowshoe, bike, and/or ride horseback on.

Herron Park:
Also, only 5 miles away is Flathead Valley’s only public horse park, Herron Park. Not only can you attend horse shows and events, but this park also offers hiking, biking, running, and dog walking trails. During the winter, this park also offers cross-country skiing.

Flathead Lake:
Only 9 miles away is the closest lake access point for the famous Flathead Lake. This access point contains a boat launch. Flathead Lake covers 197 square miles. It is 30 miles long and 16 miles wide. This massive lake allows fishing, boating, and swimming. Here you can fish for a variety of trout species including rainbow, brown, and lake trout. You may also find the rarer threaten cutthroat or endangered bull trout. Other species commonly caught are yellow perch and lake whitefish.

Flathead Lake Alpine Coaster:
Just 13 miles away is Montana’s first and only roller coaster! This newly opened “theme park” is open all year around.

Smith Lake:
Only 28 miles away is the small, but plentiful “wetland” Smith Lake. This lake is surrounded by a large wetland and is part of a Montana state wildlife refuge. It is one of the best lakes to catch Northern Pike! If you use steal leads and the right bait, you are almost guaranteed to catch pike and/or perch. This day use fishing access is open year around and does have a boat ramp.

Glacier National Park:
Glacier is only 35 miles away. This is a must see! One of the most beautiful National Parks out there with numerous hiking trails, lakes, waterfalls, and everything wild Montana has to offer. I would recommend reserving your tickets into the park in advance. The last couple years, the park had to limit the amount of people entering the park.

Wildlife:
There are an abundant of different species of wildlife that you can find in the area. The species that you are most likely to see include white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, numerous bird and raptor species, and an occasional red fox. On other extremely rare occasions you may spot elk, moose, black bear, grizzly bear, coyote, or mountain lion. There are many other species that I did not mention that do occur in the area. So always keep your eyes open. You never know if one of these beautiful creatures will bless you with their presence.

Summer Activities:
The activities in the summer here in the area are limitless. This includes, but not limited to, hiking, biking, fishing, camping, wildlife viewing, birdwatching, boating, swimming, and multiple national and state parks.
If you are planning a trip to the famous Glacier National Park, there are many other exciting activities along the way. Everything from ziplines, hot air balloons, helicopter rides, mazes, and much more. I would highly recommend checking out the Montana Vortex, where gravity defies the laws of physics.
Also, being that the house is located in the city of Kalispell, you always could spend the day exploring, shopping, dining, and enjoying all the city has to offer.

Winter Activities:
During winter, enjoy our house to the fullest! Stay inside and enjoy movie nights or playing one of our board games that we provide with your family.
If you are feeling more adventurous in our winter season, you can always take the kids sledding or snowshoeing. Nearby outdoor winter attractions, such as ski resorts and areas, include Blacktail Mountain Ski Area (14 miles), Whitefish Mountain Resort (27 miles), Glacier Nordic Center (21 miles), and Great Northern Powder Guides (39 miles). Other activities you can find in the area include dog sledging and ice fishing.
During winter, the city keeps the roads maintained, and we shovel and ice the driveway and walkways before your arrival. If needed and upon request during your stay, we will come out and shovel/ice without additional cost.

House was charming & very cute with good parking & nice private yard. House could have been a tad bit cleaner for example other people’s hair in bathroom & floors could have used a good Wash
