Beautiful Quaint Cabin | 1 Bed, 1 Bath

Welcome to the Conners Cabin on Ashley Lake. Whether you are looking for a peaceful romantic getaway, or a quiet family vacation, this cabin provides the perfect Montana experience!

This adorable home provides seclusion, but is also easy to get to. It's so charming, you're bound to get that warm and cozy feeling that only comes from staying at a natural log cabin.

Inside - On the main level there is a futon couch that sleeps 2 in the living room. The cabin has a full kitchen, pantry, bathroom with shower and even a separate laundry room. The living room has a flatscreen TV and a DVD player, with streaming capabilities. The cabin has high speed internet for all your favorite handheld devices or laptop. Upstairs, the Master Bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, and a wonderful balcony that offers stunning lake views.

Let's go outside- The lakeside deck is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors. The inviting deck is located just 10 feet from the waters edge, and the water of Ashley Lake is unbelievably crystal clear.  The large dock is very accommodating for boats, canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. Enjoy your favorite hors d'oeuvres and beverages on the dock and take in the fantastic Montana sunset as the sun dips behind the mountains to the west. There is a large fire pit that's great for cooking hot dogs, roasting marshmallows for s'mores, and of course, telling your favorite campfire stories. Wildlife is abundant at the cabin, you could see deer, turkey, rabbits, squirrels (including flying squirrels), chipmunks, ducks and even geese. Watch for Bald Eagles and Ospreys swooping down to catch fish from the lake.

Notes from the Owners - We absolutely adore Ashley Lake, the water is like the emerald/turquoise colors of the Caribbean. Our analogy is, "it's like the Caribbean with pine trees on the shore versus palm trees."
The best fishing on the lake for perch, is about 200 feet off the dock in the weed bed patch about 12 feet deep. On a calm day you can see the fish take the bait right beneath the boat. You can literally see hundreds of fish in your field of view. Polarized glasses make your view of the perch, salmon and trout even more spectacular. *Click on the Satellite function of the map below and zoom out to see how stunningly beautiful Ashley Lake truly is!

*The cabin is secluded, yet convenient to Glacier National Park, the resort town of Whitefish, the art community of Bigfork, and Glacier Park International Airport (FCA)
*Cell phone coverage is limited in this area, however, you are able to make and receive calls via Wifi, depending on your provider. The cabin has a great high speed internet connection. There is also a landline phone available in the cabin.
*Please note that the cabin is located on a county maintained gravel road.

Loved it and appreciated Amanda's excellent care! I started thinking about writing a review for this property before we checked out. I have stayed at a lot of VRBO's, and I enjoy the large designer homes with gourmet kitchens, but this sweet property hit a different note. It felt nostalgic and peaceful. I love the way the screen doors creak when you open them, and the vintage touches in the kitchen. This is exactly what I imagine when I think of a cabin on the lake. We spent most of our days lounging on the huge porch. We also rented the bunk house, and the screen porch was one of my favorite spots. I sat there reading for hours while listening to the water lap on the shore. The wildlife was abundant, the lake was a vibrant blue, and the cabin was pure serenity. I felt like I stepped back to a time before cell phones and internet. All my cares floated away. We all felt blessed to have this week to recharge.

Great place!

We love Ashley Lake. This cabin is a great property and has everything you need for a great stay. Very nice dock and deck area to hang out. We'd definitely stay here again.

The only cooking item that was missing from the cabin was cooking spray. Luckily we cooked some bacon and used the grease from that to make eggs later on. I would maybe suggest leaving a kayak or paddle boat for guests to use. N/A.

Perfect hidden gem in the woods. It's wonderful for a couple, or if you need peace & quiet, a place to recharge. To many wonderful favorites to list The entire cabin is precious. Every need in the kitchen is thought out & met. The cabin is cozy & comfortable. The bathroom and large laundry room was such a pleasant surprise.

Beautiful and relaxing!

My family and I stayed at this quaint cabin on Ashley Lake. We also rented the bunk house for the kids. They loved it. The cabin and bunk house were awesome - nicely appointed and clean ~ lots of character too. In the early morning, one could hear the loons ~ what a serene song to wake up to. The cabin and bunk house were only a stones throw to the lake. The view was awesome and it was great to sit on the dock and watch the sun set. Ashley Lake is crystal clear. One day we rented jet skis and tooled around the lake. Beautiful and relaxing - highly recommended!
