"As advertised - the room was able to accommodate me and my 3 children. We were treated to a show of the northern lights during our stay. We had to depart rather early but the staff was amazing and accommodated us with hot coffee and bagged lunches for the trip. We were in the main building - but I would return and stay in one of the beautiful cabins. "

"The property was in the middle of nowhere but still easy to find, especially in the dark. I switched to this place at the last minute and we were mostly glad we did. The staff was wonderful and the homemade bread and jam was fabulous. Our bathroom sink and tub were not draining very well so we had to be careful about that. The room walls are VERY thin so the noise from the other people were a bit disturbing. From the pictures we thought we would have a separate cabin but ours ending up...

"We had a great stay. We booked one night to be able to do an ice cave tour. Great location! My son enjoyed hiking to an old barn and waterfall. This place was super clean and the linens smelled nice and appeared to be freshly laundered. The cute little grass roof houses is nice and you can even go inside them. "

"Alles war in Ordnung. Kein Luxus, aber alles nötige stand zur Verfügung. Mit 2 Schalzimmern ist es ideal für eine 4-Köpfige Familie. Das ist ein "Doppelhaushälfte", und durch den Trennwand konnte man die Nachbaren hören, ansonsten war alles Ruhig. Die Umgebung ist ländlich (ein Farm in der Nähe), mit schönem Aussicht. Die Lage ist ideal (1 Minute zur Ringstraße Nr.1) für Tagesausflüge (z.B. nach Kirkjubaejarklaustur, Jökulsárlón, Laki etc.) Gerne wieder!"

"Bedroom was nice, clean, simple. Dining and living room area good. All of the kitchen was in very poor condition (counters not wiped, fridge not wiped, appliances seemed very old and had stains and seemed unsanitary, cutlery/dishware also old). Bathroom was too outdated with very small shower. Driving directions to the guesthouse could be more clear with better signs; confusing to find our guesthouse. Overall much below our expectations and would not recommend to come here again, especially...
