"This is a great apartment and I t’s in a lovely location. It’s right on the beach and is close to many restaurants. (A different one for every day). The apartment is a good size. It has a large bedroom with a large bed, and plenty of storage space. It has an open planed kitchen, dinning and lounge area, and the sofa opens up as an extra double bed too. The bathroom looks new and the outside space/balcony is comfortably bigger enough for 6 people. Like others have mentioned, the apartment has everything you need for your stay. Towels, plus extra towels if needed, bedding, and again with extra if needed. The kitchen is fully loaded. Hob, cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer, all utensils etc. Not that you’ll need to use it, what with the restaurants all in walking distance. (Nice to have though). If your looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, on the beach and with amazing views, (The sunsets are amazing), then I would highly recommend this apartment, Communication with the owner Manos, was good and he was always available if needed."

"The property was lovely; our room had A/C and a mini-fridge with a freezer, and the balcony had a drying rack with clothespins. The bathroom had a shower, toilet, sink, and hairdryer, too! Haroula is the best: friendly, always happy, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. She's our new good friend, and so are the people in all the stores, bars, and restaurants. We will be staying with her again. Kalamaki is heaven on earth! It was the BEST vacation we've ever had; it was beautiful, charming, and fun. I highly, highly recommend Galaxias Studios and give it a 5-star rating! ***** !"

"Perfect host, perfect location , perfect holiday get away . Stayed a week and it felt so relaxing straight away. Great base for exploring surroundings villages etc but lovely and secluded area to come back to. Beach just a short walk away , edged with lovely tavernas , very friendly staff who will even serve you on the beach as you relax on the sunbeds! (Bonus no charge for sunbed and brolly set!) Highly recommend short drive to Matala and Agia Galini ..both fantastic . Brave the drive through Tymbaki that is slightly scary but also slightly amusing , to nearby supermarket for everything you could need ..great kebabs etc that were amazing on the BBQ . Would definitely go back ."

"The property has some good points but the bad things outweigh this. First the bad: The bedrooms are very small and hard to walk to the far side of the bed. Reaching the house from the parking space is a very steep incline and rough in places. The shower rooms are both small. On the good side: The views are very good. The facilities (air con etc) all in good condition and work well. The swimming pool and outside space are nice and just as big as they appear in the photos. General thoughts: We failed to notice that the location is a long way from shops – about 30 minutes drive to get groceries (1.5 hours return trip minimum). There are plenty of tavernas within 5 or 10 mins drive and several good beaches. The local area is known to be windy. It should be noted that like most places in Crete the toilet paper goes in the bin not down the toilet. The ironing board and iron in the listing was missing. Move key to inside to get electricity to work, then the door can slam shut with key locked inside. Unlock a patio door as soon as you can."

"High design: white with wood accents. Very private. Super clean. Amazing view. Kitchen was fully equipped. AC worked great and was very quiet. Operating the TV, though, was over my pay grade. Alexandra, our hostess, was terrific. Getting around the village is complicated. Waze and Google maps both failed me due to construction road closures."
