Welcome to our beautifully decorated ocean front condo in paradise - Kona Reef A-22.

Our condo is our home away from home, so we respectfully request a maximum of 2 adult guests and no children under 18.

Whether this is your first trip to Kailua-Kona or you are a frequent visitor to the island, our condo at Kona Reef Resort will definitely be your favorite place to stay.

Our condo is only 23 feet from the water and the 3rd floor views from the lanai are absolutely mesmerizing. You will find yourself drawn to the views from the lanai from dawn till dusk, and with the sounds of the surf, warm tropical breezes and the views of the ocean, you will soon find a soothing sense of calm begin to take over.

Our private lanai hosts a bar height table and chairs, plus 2 swivel chairs with ottomans and a side table. Most mornings while sitting on the lanai and drinking a steamy mug of incredible Kona coffee, a few of the local surfers will be out in front of the condo catching the morning waves, and by the time the sun comes over the volcano, more often than not a pod of spinner dolphins will pass through on their early morning trek.

Early on Wednesdays and Saturdays mornings, cruise ships will pass directly in front of the condo and dock in Kaulua- Kona for the day and then sail off to Lahaina, Maui as the sun begins to set. The humpback whales (na kohola) visit Hawaii every year from November until early May and some have even been spotted from the lanai.

Once your day begins to wind down, you will find yourself anxiously waiting for the stunning sunsets that Hawaii is famous for.

Boogie Boarder Showtime

This condo checked all of the boxes for a vacation rental. The lanai is virtually on top of the waves breaking onto the shore. The surf was up so local surfers and boogie boarders were out in force and put on a show! As far as amenities, this rental had everything you could ask for and then some. We've never experienced a VRBO that had as many creature comforts as this one. Tons of silverware, cutlery, and dinnerware plus all the little things like first aid items and binoculars. There were plenty of restaurants a short walk away. The Safeway was a five-minute drive for food items. We've already booked another stay for next spring. Thank you KaCee and Kurt for a great vacation.

Great Oceanside condo

The best part was the proximity to the ocean. I spent hours watching the surfers and body boarders. The bed was super comfy and the condo fully stocked. I appreciated the prompt and helpful communication with the owners.

Awesome place

This condo has it all. Oceanfront view, easy walk to town, beautiful furnishings and decor, and stocked with all essentials to make your stay easy and hassle free. Plus the complex has a pool and BBQ which we used on a daily basis. We enjoyed watching the surfers, boogie boarders and wonderful sunsets from the lanai.

Great location and view

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. Loved all the personal touches. Clean unit with all the amenities. Very comfy large bed. The kitchen is well equipped and be careful as they keep their knives sharp. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful stay at Kona Reef Condos.

Beautiful condo with a private balcony overlooking the surf and the beautiful Pacific! Everything you could possibly need in the unit. Great linens and all the comforts of home. Walking distance to great restaurants, great bars, shopping, and even a wonderful Catholic Church. We loved the unit, we loved our stay, and hope to return back to the same rental!

Everything we needed was here! Luxury towels, comfortable bed, beach towels, cooler, beach chairs and umbrella. Drying rack for clothes and Hawaii books. Beautifully decorated and updated. Bathroom has everything you need. We will recommend to everyone we know and pkan to go back!

EXCELLENT!

Terrific location. Only a few easy walking blocks to downtown Kona. And a few nice restaurant options only 2 blocks away right on the ocean. The condo was clean and very functional. View from condo was tremendous. Sunsets every night, right in front of you from private Lanai. Waves crashing. Couldn't be any more spectacular. Will not be disappointed.

Kona Vacation

This is a great property right on the water. It is nicely updated, clean and the bed was really comfortable. The complex is kept clean and there is plenty of parking. One criticism would be about the couch and chair. They are not very comfortable and need to be updated. I would definitely stay here again.

Relax and enjoy watching the ocean

We had a wonderful 5 days enjoying the condo and surrounding areas. The condo was exceptionally clean and very well equipped and felt like a home rather than just a place to stay. The large bed was very comfortable. We spent hours sitting on the lanai watching the waves and looking for the whales. It was lovely in the evening as the area in front of the lanai is lit so you can still watch the waves while enjoying a drink and dinner.

Amazing views! Amazing condo!

The hosts were so friendly and helpful from day one! The condo was absolutely wonderful. We appreciate a place where you can be on vacation but still be able to cook and make coffee and have a leisurely start to your day. The condo had everything we needed. Beach chairs, mats, towels, kitchen essentials and most importantly, stunning views and a beach right next door! It was magical. We will be back and hope we can still book this condo… hopefully the word won’t get out too much 😃

Beautiful views and great value

My wife and I enjoyed our vacation to Kona staying at this place. Amazing views from balcony and living room and kitchen. Very clean and conformable furniture and beautiful Hawaiian themed design. Great location as well. There is everything you can possibly want from beach bags to spices and cooking utensils to your washer and dryer. I would recommend this to anyone and plan to use it again myself. Owner is very kind, helpful and super organized.

Location and View Are Amazing

First off cxl your dinner reservations at sunset. You won’t need them…..just have dinner on this amazing lanai at Sunset ….no restaurant can beat the view. Condo is in great location on Ali’i street, walkable to all restaurants, bars and shopping. Unit is well appointed and cozy. The sounds of the waves were so soothing they put us to sleep most nights. Host was responsive and helpful….checking in was a breeze. Close drive to nice beaches and airport. Definitely a do-over!

Wonderful Kona experience

The condo exceeded our expectations-lovely island decor and super clean. It is well-equipped and stocked with daily housekeeping necessities. The lanai is spectacular-we spent many hours gazing at the waves (huge!!) and surfers-no need to go to the beach to watch the sunset-we could see it while sitting at the hightop or in the comfy chairs. Nice galley kitchen. The bedroom (comfy bed) is located on the opposite side of the condo so it is quiet for sleeping and has great closet and dresser space for 2. There is ample parking and location is convenient to great restaurants and shopping. The hosts were very responsive, kind and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Kona Reef A22, a great place te be

Turtles and dolphins and surfers and boogie boarders and sunsets oh my! Kona Reef A22 is a great unit. Wonderful view, extremely well equipped with plenty of everything you need for a relaxing stay. Eat in while watching the sunset or eat out with an easy walk to multiple restaurants. Appliances are new and in good shape, not all rusty like many in Hawaii. Bed was a bit soft for our comfort, but that is a personal taste. The condo is clean and does not have the damp musty smell of many Hawaii condos. Kurt and KaCee checked is to see if everything was satisfactory soon after we arrived. Communication with them is easy and they respond quickly. We highly recommend this unit if you plan to stay at Kona Reef!
