This direct ocean front deluxe penthouse studio is the perfect place to spend a relaxing vacation right on the ocean's edge!! Literally 20 feet from the ocean, you cannot beat the view anywhere from the lanai!! Perfect for lounging, dining, reading or just relaxing. You name it! You won't want to leave the view!

The condo has all the comforts of home, but you're in Hawaii, enjoying the fabulous weather, sights and sounds! Corner unit (north end) located on the top floor of a four-story building, this oceanfront condominium not only boasts first-class views but has excellent proximity to Kona town and all activities as well.

Watch world-class surfers ride the waves while dolphins frolic in their wake. Enjoy seasonal whale watching right from the lanai and get a close up view of the giant sea turtles that come up on shore to sun themselves! (No touching though!)

The condo has been totally remodeled in July 2017 with new furnishings, king size pedestal bed, new sofa, bar stools, freshly painted, new ceiling fans, lighting. In May of 2020, a brand new split system 18,000 BTU central AC system was added. This replaces the 9,000 BTU window unit. The condo cools off very quickly now on a hot summer afternoon. Of course most people don't ever use the A/C as you get some fantastic ocean sea breezes since you are right on the water.

The condo is fully stocked with all the comforts of home plus many items you have never even thought about. The condo comes with a washer, dryer, dishwasher, iron, ironing board, hair dryer and a full suite of kitchen appliances such as microwave, coffee grinder, water purifier, blender, coffee pot, rice cooker, ice maker, etc. Plenty of dishes, plates, glasses, pots, pans, silverware, utensils, and cooking spices

This private condominium has everything you need for an unforgettable Hawaiian experience. The condo comes with plenty of towels, linens, beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc.

The condo wifi router via Spectrum has just been upgraded to 500 Mps download speed (effective 13 July 2023)

The condo is located at the beautiful Oceanfront Kona Bali Kai Property. The condo complex has a nice heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi, oceanfront gas BBQ's and picnic areas, very nice tropical landscaping and a sandy beach area for sunbathing and wading in the tide pools. Lounge chairs are available to all condo guests at the beach front area. There are also some shady spots if you wish to take a break from the sun. There is an elevator to take you to the condo, no need to walk stairs at this condo! The world famous Poke Shack restaurant is on the grounds of the property. A convenience store is located across the street.

The White sands swim beach is located one mile south, the snorkel beach is one and half miles south and the Kona Country Club golf course (18 holes for public use) is 3 miles south. This is a truly a condo you will want to return to year after year (as you will see many repeat guests in the condo guest books). Warning: The Big Island has so much to offer and after one trip and you will be hooked!

8 other individuals from our family stayed at the same condo property in two 4 bedroom condos. Their condos were upgraded and very nice. Ours was more rustic, but at the same time more beachy. Given the price, comfort and view we were pleased with our studio condo. The owners and project manager were great and very accommodating; responded quickly. Only recommendations is that the clean and organize the condo better and clean/dust under the furniture and all the shelving units. My allergies were bad.

Amazing Ocean Front View
This condo is truly ocean front and the views from the balcony are amazing! We loved watching the surf hit the shore with the white foam washing up against the black lava rocks. We saw large turtles swimming in the shallow water a number of times which was also a lot of fun. The bathroom is quite modern and the tub is jetted with a wonderful rain shower. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed very comfortable. We definitely hope to be able to get back again one of these days.

Property was just as listed and we enjoyed the breathtaking view from the lanai each morning. Location was great, easy drive to town and parking was simple and close to the condo making trips back and forth a breeze! Enjoyed the beach equipment they had available for use as well- snorkels, pool noodles, boogie board, beach chairs, beach towels, and cooler for our beach outings! Make sure to bring shampoo/conditioner/body wash as only hand soap was included with the rental, which was no issue for us :)

Breathtaking View
The view of the ocean and sunsets can only be rivaled by the sound of the waves crashing into the rocks and the sea turtles in the tide pool. I cannot express enough how amazing the view is. Being the end unit on the top floor means a private lanai. It is located just a smidge south of the main Kona drag making it quiet, yet convenient. Highly recommend!

Nicely appointed studio on the end of the building - a bit more road noise. Beautiful view. Comfortable bed. The unit is on the fourth floor and the elevator is a ways down the hall. We enjoyed taking the stairs right down to our parked car but a person with mobility issues might have difficulty.

A beautiful property with everything you could need. The views from the 4th floor balcony were amazing - we could look for whales (and there were many!) and watch the sunsets. Comfortable and convenient to Kailua as well as exploring the rest of the Big Island. This is an awesome place to stay.

The views from the balcony are just as stunning as indicated in the listing photos. No trick photography here - it was great! The little beach area at the other end of the complex was another easy option for relaxing and the location is super convenient to all sorts of things. Mike is easy to work with and very responsive. He sent us a terrific guide to things to do and places to eat. Unit is clean and well-equipped.

Great stay!
Mike’s communication is excellent. After booking, I received an email with all kinds of helpful information. Directions, restaurants, and activities were all included. The condo was clean and exactly as described. We spent most evenings on the lanai, watching sunsets and even saw the “green flash” on 3 of the 6 nights we stayed. Only saw one turtle once but we watched one evening as a kayaker brought a 3’ blue fin tuna in. Now that is something you don’t see at home. The bed is very comfortable and we slept very well with the waves drowning out much of the traffic noise. The lighting the the bathroom could use some work as it is pretty dark in that room. Despite paying a cleaning fee, you are asked to take out the trash and place towels in the washer and if time permits, put in the dryer. But that would not stop us from renting again if we ever returned to the Big Island.

A real paradise
This place was so fantastic. Cozy, clean and comfortable. And the view was amazing. We had the patio door open and the entry door open and the cross breeze keep it so cool that we never needed the air conditioner. Owner Mike was available to answer any questions even when I had a senior moment! I would highly recommend this place, and hope to some day get to stay again. Amazing Views and Lava Rocks
Overall this was a great rental. It was a nice, private location with little to no noise from neighbors and close enough to get to restaurants and shops quickly with a short drive. Being a corner room was great for the views, but unfortunately had a little bit of noise from the traffic. But that was only noticable while on the lanai, didn't affect sleeping at all. The condo itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Would have gotten 5 stars except we had one run in with ants even though we didn't have food out on the counters. After a thorough wipe down, they didn't return. There was some construction or something going on in the parking garage that made it a little difficult to get in and out at times. We spent most of our time exploring the island, so overall this was a great, safe place to come back to each night.

Comfortable bed, the A/C works extremely well and was quick to cool off the room, and the ocean view is what you pay for. Perfect for what my partner and I needed for our stay. Be aware, no shampoo or conditioner, and we only found the bars of soap hidden away above the washer/dryer unit once we were getting ready to check out. So bring your own shampoo/conditioner at least!

Beautiful Condo with wonderfully helpful owner
We rose every morning to a beautiful sunrise and coffee on the deck. Every evening ended with a lovely sunset and a glass of wine. The sound of the surf was calming. Pure heaven! The king bed was very comfortable. The tub shower condo is larger that in looks in the pictures. We loved watching the sea turtles and the surfers. We arrived much later and much more frazzled than expected due to errors on my own part. The owner was responsive and helpful even at the late hour when we asked for help. He called us the next day to make sure that all was well. I cannot overestimate how good it felt to have him in our corner! Highly recommend!
