Welcome to Hale Kai Aloha – Kona Onenalo #10, a free-standing townhouse! Slide open the floor-to-ceiling doors to watch the sunset nightly from one of two lanais overlooking the Pacific Ocean on the west coast of Hawaii Island, the Big Island.

Located within the exclusive gated community Kona Onenalo, Hale Kai Aloha's 2-storied, 2,000 square foot home is magical. The 3-bedroom 3-bath home is well-appointed with tropical motif interior will leave you relaxed and refreshed. On the first floor, you will find a welcoming foyer, spacious updated koa wood kitchen, clothes washer and dryer, dining room, great room, 1 bedroom, bath, and lanai with outdoor dining and gas grill available. On the second floor, you will find the primary bedroom with private bath, guest bedroom with private bath, writing nook, and lanai with chaise lounges. Home has added comfort and is air-conditioned.

Entertainment includes flat screen smart televisions, free Wi-Fi, and DVD player. Steps away from the community oceanfront pool and spa or take a five-minute walk to White Sands Beach to swim or snorkel. Shopping, restaurants, golf and tennis are nearby. There is a walking/jogging path along the roadway.

Spectacular ocean views will allow you to watch whales while in season, dolphins and turtles while sipping Kona coffee in the morning or your favorite wine in the afternoon!

Please be advised there is no door on the second bedroom bathroom.

Great vacation stay!
This was a great place to gather as a family for a big bday celebration. It's a wonderfully comfortable unit, has beautiful grounds and pool and a spectacular sunset view over the Pacific. While we enjoyed dining on the deck the nearby Magic Sands restaurant was also a favorite. My only hesitation for recommending this property is that it will become to popular!

Perfect lodging and location
We are a family of 6 adults (3 couples). This was the perfect choice for our one week on the Big Island. The rental company was responsive and stayed in touch. Each bedroom had its own mini split and was very comfortable. The beds in the 2 twin bedroom could be pushed together. The condo was well equipped and absolutely beautiful. The online pics don’t do it justice. The location was the best one could ask for. You could snorkel right outside the condo through a gate on the condo property. Magic Sands beach was a 5 minute walk. Thanks! A wonderful experience!

This home really is like it looks in the pictures. Beachfront, amazing views, close to town (but not so close that it's loud). The house is great. 4 different AC units inside so everyone can adjust to their comfort level. The unit has everything you need, all appliances, utensils, etc. It is very well equipped. The property manager(s) are very quick to respond to emails (thank you!). Pool and hot tub on site are a really nice bonus, especially for the kids. This was probably the best VRBO rental we've had.

This property worked out well for us. Loved the pool for a swim each afternoon. Beautiful view and gate with snorkel access. Lots of beach equipment to borrow. Walking distance to Magic Sands Beach & great Grill Restaurant. A Kona Shuttle stop is there to go into town on a 1 hr loop.

Perfect for our needs.
We've been visiting the Big Island for many years and have our favorite beaches and places to eat and drink. This trip we wanted someplace convenient to town and the water. Great property. We’ll equipped for beach fun and cooking. Right next to the pool with a straight view out to the ocean. AC worked great but didn’t really need it with the big sliding doors and steady breeze. Short walk to a great sandy beach. Shot drive to great snorkeling. Highly recommend.

Book this, you won't regret it!
The house was beautiful with all the amenities you need and situated where you got the most beautiful sunsets you can imagine. I know we were there during off-season but it was so quiet and peaceful. I would provide pictures but all the ones already listed are enough. The concierge, David, was most helpful with anything we needed as well. To set expectations, There isn't any "beach" access but you do have access to the rocky entrance with hundreds of sea urchins so be careful.

Very happy with this rental. Check in was easy. The house was well stocked. The 2nd master bath was a little dated, but all was clean and tidy. You can walk to a beach north or south of the property (about 20 min). We spent most of our time on the beautiful deck for coffee in the morning and cocktails with the sunset at night!

This property could not have been more perfect for our stay! Centrally located, beautiful view from the lanai, plenty of space for a family with teens, kitchen amenities, etc all met or exceeded expectations. The pool is just down the stairs so easy access. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Getaway in Paradise
This property is what made our stay on the Big Island. The location is perfect! Right next to Magic Sands Beach and we were able to run in the mornings alone Alii. You can even rent a bike to get to town! But seriously watching the sunsets every night from the lanai was perfect. The property is quiet and very private. Five full stars!
