Secluded Sands ~ Private Beach Access, A/C

Head to the tropics of The North Shore and see for yourself why our guests describe our destination/vacation home as an "island paradise." Our spacious beach house, with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, has access to one of Oahu's few remaining, truly secluded beaches (~5 min walk). Our home has a privacy-fenced yard, full kitchen, and a large deck all for your use. We've got air conditioning in every room (starting October 2024), vaulted ceilings, two 4K TVs w/ free streaming entertainment, and luxury mattresses on the beds. We've gathered all of the essentials to ensure you a truly comfortable & memorable stay. PLUS, you'll have full access to our infant gear, free on-site parking, and ever-evolving collection of beach & sports gear. Book early to lock in your dates.

We're located close to some of Oahu's must-see attractions including Turtle Bay, the Polynesian Cultural Center, Pipeline, Sunset Beach, Kawela Bay, Gunstock Ranch, Malaekahana Campground, Hukilau Marketplace (for all of you foodies), Haleiwa Town, and more. You'll have quick access to a ton of activities like golfing, tennis, pickleball, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, sailing, horseback riding, ATV's, zip-lining, paddle and body boarding.

Our beach and sport gear typically includes: paddle boards, body boards, portable/beach chairs, sand toys, coolers, snorkel sets (mask, snorkel, & fins), fishing poles, beach towels, and wagons for toting things to and from the beach. Our infant gear includes: a high chair, baby gate for indoor stairs, cupboard locks, puddle jumpers, toddler utensils & dishes, a stroller, and a pack-n-play crib with mattress and sheets.

NOTES:

* Air conditioning in all bedrooms and living rooms. Additionally, all bedrooms have ceiling fans, pedestal fans, and operable windows.

*This property is not wheelchair accessible.

* Please keep in mind that you are visiting Hawaii countryside where the animals are a regular and important part of life. Ants, roosters, geckos, lizards, and cockroaches live alongside humans here. We will always have a clean and well-kept home for you, but please be advised that little visitors (insects) are not uncommon, especially if you attract them with unattended food.

* Our inventory of beach & sports gear is constantly changing as things get added or replaced. Such is the nature of outdoor "toys." It will always look similar to what you see pictured but may not be exactly the same.

* For security and other reasons, map pins on this website show the approximate, not precise, location of rental properties. Our beach house is located between Mālaekahana State Recreation Area and Turtle Bay Resort. The resort is a few miles away, where you may access their free parking lot, beach, shops, restaurants, and fee-based activities like: tennis & pickleball court rental, horseback riding, golf, spa, fitness center (offering weekly passes), surf/SUP lessons, helicopter tours, charter boat adventures, etc.

* We have partnered with a provider of optional travel insurance, including a "cancel for any reason" option, if you need it. It's available for purchase after booking if the check-in date is at least 30 days away.

* Where applicable, the 3% per-transaction payment processing fee is non-refundable.

Absolutely incredible experience staying at Secluded Sands. Would recommend to anyone. There are enough rooms and beds to easily accommodate 2-3 families. The kitchen had all the little things that you need (utensils, seasonings, pots/pans, cups, bowls, plates, etc.). There were lots of toys, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The wagon came in extra handy. The stand up paddle boards were great to have at nearby Kawela Bay where we saw lots of turtles. Will stay here every time we come to visit Oahu. Thank you so much!

Amazing place to bring our family

We had a wonderful time staying in this home on the North Shore and will definitely come again! Home was large enough for our big family and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sunrise views from the home are unbeatable.

Cool spot! Close to lots of stuff

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It’s a great location if you want to be close to the school and to the food trucks in Kahuku. We also enjoyed time driving to various beaches. The beach near this place was fine, but almost more enjoyable to drive to other beaches, then walk to this one about the same time.

Bria was very responsive with any questions we had. She also let us know that someone would be coming to fix the gate, very professional. House fit my entire family of 11 (including myself). Our extended family had a wonderful experience at this property. The fully equipped kitchen and proximity to grocery stores made self catering easy, which with 6 children ranging in age from 4 months to 18 years in our group was a fantastic option. The 5 bedrooms and multiple living areas means that there is plenty of bedding configuration options and breakout spaces. This property allows excellent access to North Shore beaches and Tourist destinations and was a great opportunity to see a different side to Hawaii. Communication was excellent from the hosts and they were very responsive to questions or issues as they arose.

Wonderful home!

Beautiful, updated house and property in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The beach is a very short walk away and we never saw anyone else there when we went. It was so beautiful and peaceful! The host’s instructions were so helpful and very detailed about every part of the property. Having AC in each room was a lifesaver on hot, muggy days. The property is located in such a convenient location to quickly get to our local favorites in Laie and Kahuku. Haleiwa is not a far drive either. We came as an adults only girls trip but this property would also be a great place for families. I’d definitely bring my kids back.

Nice for our big group!

Place was amazing and big enough for all 14 of us. Our favorite beaches were very close so travel to and from was very easy and fast which was great because we had two babies with us that needed to go back for naps during the day. Host was great and very responsive and proactive at communicating making our experience even better. The house had everything we needed for cooking and for the beach which was awesome because we didn't have to pack anything bulky like Beach towels in our luggage from home. Locals around the house and in Kahuku were super nice and friendly. Would definitely stay here again if I was traveling with a medium or big sized group.

Spectacular home!!

This place was amazing. Its in the north shore so it's far from the busy beaches that are around Oahu. The house is located minutes away from a secluded beach. She provides paddle boards, beach towels, floaties, and wagons to haul it to and from. If you're a foodie then you have the world famous Giovanni's shrimp truck, The Bald Guys, and Kalbi on fire are really close by. The house has a private driveway gate so your cars are secure at night. This place is as advertised. She really goes out of her way to make sure you have a great time. Would definitely recommend this place.

Me and the wife had been wanting to stay on the north shore for a long time and this was the perfect place to do so...very close to turtle beach and the Polynesian cultural center. Very quiet and secluded but still close enough to enjoy the whole island

Excellent time

Wonderful house away from the traffic, but still a short drive to everything on the North Shore. There were 14 of us, so we used every part of the house. Plenty of room for us. Nice walk to food trucks and short drive to Foodland. Definitely would stay again. Best Wishes to the owners and there little one!
