Ryokans in Kagoshima Prefecture

"Beautiful hotel, wonderful view from the room, right in front of the tram stop into town. Free shuttle service from/to the train station. Staff were professional and friendly. The onsen was clean and I was able to use it despite having tattoos. It did become very busy after a while which ruined it a bit, but I was leaving by then do grateful it was quite when I'd gone in. Only odd thing was we didn't get any extra bedding even though we'd booked a room with sofa bed and were 3 people (2 adults and 1 child). We called reception and they did bring an extra pillow and blanket, but no sheet. But everything else was perfect and would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. "

"It was amazing. The breakfasts were the best that we had our entire trip. I also loved the bakery. And the views of the volcano were heavenly. The help was also great! And the hotel itself was befitting of the views. "

"Convenient, Clean, Nice Staff, Great Sakurajima view (with the view rooms). Connected underground to Kagoshima Chuo Station and to AMU shopping and AEON grocery store. Bus to Airport is also in same building. 5 minutes from Museum of the Meiji Restoration and CIty View bus stop. Restaurant flood B1 looked fun too!"

"Very good view against the Sakurajima island. Exceptional location. Parking fee is 1000 yen per night and it has a pretty big parking lot near the Lawson if the covered parking lot is full. Very good breakfast for about $27 two adults and two kids."

"Nice hotel and would definitely stay here again. Room was a bit bigger than the smaller sized Japanese hotel rooms l've experienced (especially the bathroom which had a full-sized walk-in shower). Bed was very, very comfortable. Shower had a 'normal' shower head and a rainfall shower too. Good in-room amenities. Nice staff. "
