"We needed a hotel near Chilenje and this one worked out very well! It was safe, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was very polite and accomodating. Hot breakfast was available every morning. We enjoyed our 4-night stay here very much!"

"Arrived at the hotel to be told we didn't have a booking and they had.not been on your books for 4 yrs Advise by owner and taxi driver that it was not safe for us to stay in the area as it was the poorest part of town We had to find alternate accommodation late in the afternoon at a cost of over $600,this was a very stressful situation for 2 females I have used Expedia several times in the past with no problems I feel that i should be re embursed for out of pocket expenses"

"The first disappointing thing is the owners very bad attitude, the price I booked online for the room was changed on my arrival. Because we had to be in the same area and place with my brother I was forced to take the room at their price. In the morning we got a single egg, no butter, no Milk in the tea, some days no electricity and no hot water. However the staff were so amazing especially one young man Edward. He made our stay enjoyable. I hope one day he gets to own that place and turn it...

"We arrived at the location to check in and the groundskeeper could not understand why we were there. We called the number listed and the owner didn’t k ow why we were there and said that he rpirperty wasn’t even listed on Expedia!!! BUT Expedia deducted the money from our account!!!! So we looked at a room that was open (which was the room we booked) and it was being used as the trash room!!! Stacked to the ceiling with debris and trash!!! It was the worst service and experience to date...

"I reserved this guest house for my little brother's first night in Lusaka. He was arriving late unexpectedly (was supposed to be 10PM, but was actually midnight). I tried calling and messaging the guest house with their contact phone, but no one picked up and there was no way to leave a message. When my brother arrived there was no one at the gate and the place was dark and he couldn't get in. So he had to go elsewhere. I know it was non-refundable, but he tried to sleep there and couldn't. "The concept of cube-like lodges is great. Staff is very professional and nice. The way Lusaka's infrastructure is, places are not too far away, but not at walking distance either. It is best to hire a driver, which is very affordable, and people are friendly and attentive to your needs. For check-out, the Cubes accommodated a 12pm versus 10am request, which was a plus for me. "
