"They were unaware that I had booked the room and were going to cancel my reservation. Being in a foreign country this would have left me in a very unsafe scenario. The staff eventually agreed to let us stay and prepared the room. They made us breakfast the following day which was delicious. The room did not have a garbage and no soap was available at the time of check in. Overall would not go back given the cost of the room."

"Great personal attention. The flight was 3 hours late so did not get to Shine until about 3 AM. They had left the light on and were waiting for us. Made sure we were well taken care of. It is located a little ways off the main road from the airport to Kampala. If you do not need to stay in Kampala, it is a great retreat."

"Bukoto heights I always stay here when I go for vacation in Uganda. However this time it was different. The room next to me the person had a dog which made it difficult for me to sit on the balcony, it was barking all the time i sat out. One time it almost pulled off my friend’s dredlock when she sat on the balcony unaware that the dog was in the back.
