They downgraded us to a standard and expected us to pay full price until we called them out on this blatant deception. "One of the top hotels in Kabale. The service given by the staff is outstanding, even by Uganda’s high standards. Good range of food on offer in the dining hall, and a great breakfast included in the price. Hotel is becoming a bit dated, but they are now in the process of updating and modernising the hotel. "The site is superb with a wondeful view of the lake and beutiful hills. The manager was most friendly and helpful as were the rest of the stff. We had a two roomed spacious cottage which was clean , well furnished and with comfortable beds. It had a huge verandah overlooking the lake. The food was good but not otstanding and the bar was modestly stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay until the very end when the office was not able to produce a machine that would accept either Mmastercard or...
