"Great modern and centrally located hotel, we spent 2 nights here. Very stylish room and bath area in a contemporary Scandinavian design. Spacious bathroom, shower worked very well. Comfortable bed and linens, blackout curtains kept room dark at night. Room overlooked street but not bothered by noise at all. Staff were very helpful in recommending and booking us great local restaurants, and combined with being right in central Helsinki we were able to walk to dinner both nights. Hotel bar was closed Sunday eve but open Monday and we enjoyed a late drink there. Great value and would absolutely book and stay here again. "

"First time Helsinki visitors, we chose Hotel Fabian and were happy with our selection. Property is about 3-4 easy blocks from the harbor and Esplanade, on a quiet side street across from the Defense Dept. (Everything is quiet in Helsinki :) ) There's a supermarket, Hesberger chain, and a restaurant within one block. Ten minute (or less) walk to Punavuori with plenty of places to eat and chill. Helsinki is super-walkable and easy! The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast good but not exceptional. Hot water plentiful. I could do without the overwhelming incense thing in the bathroom. Staff was kind and not obtrusive. Would recommend!"

"Areas around central station are always with tons of mixed types of people. It's a trade off for the convenience. Did not feel unsafe through my stay. Definitely not the same as uptown accommodations."

"Hotel Haven is a cosy and stylish place to stay. It is set in a beautiful historical building that adds a unique charm to the whole experience. Very nicely decorated, lots of lovely sitting spots in the lobby. It’s in a prime spot by the harbour, and the restaurant overlooks the waterfront and some historical buildings too. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, perfect for unwinding after a day out. The rooms are really spacious and comfy with a nice mix of classic and modern design. One of the highlights is the buffet breakfast served with plenty of options including healthy foods, fresh smoothies, and local pastries."
