Beautiful condo with great view. Slightly dated and worn.
Furniture was dated and worn but clean. Well stocked kitchen but oven did not work and this was a big problem for our plans to cook. Pool and spa were wonderful.

My daughter and I decided to go on a “girls” vacation and we sure picked the perfect location. The condo was perfect in every way- it was clean and included everything that we needed for the week. The location is ideal and close to everything. The ocean view is spectacular, it’s mesmerizing to just relax and take it all in. Highly recommend this beautiful rental.

What A View
Great view of the ocean during the day and fantastic view of the stars at night! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the tasty restaurants and fun activities close by. Definitely would recommend!

Wonderful Mahana Stay!
Our stay was terrific. Aside from the beauty and charm and all that Maui offers our Mahana rental was great. Clean and comfortable and well appointed. A couple of minor issues that would have been nice to knows going in would have been good though. Once we had communicated the issues, they were acknowledged and already going to be dealt with. Wouldn't hesitate to book there again! Thanks for the wonderful home for our vacation!

The view, the view, the view!!!!❤️ What a beautiful view with so many whales, turtles and surfers🐋🐢🌊 🏄‍♂️ We loved that the bedroom had the same view and also access to the balcony. We loved this property!! It was absolutely perfect for two people. They supplied beach chairs and umbrellas which was super great! You can walk the beach in both directions or walk to restaurants via the beach or boardwalk that is conveniently located just off the parking area. Having a washer and dryer was another added bonus. We look forward to being able to stay at this property again!!!

Clean condo, excellent bed, fabulous view and location
The condo was exactly as pictured in the listing. The bathroom shower configuration was very convenient for rinsing out swimsuits and snorkel gear. Amazing sunset views, lots of whale watching using our own binoculars which we brought. Airport beach is right outside so easy beach access. Also a short walk to the supermarket, food trucks, and Duke’s.

Mahana, our favorite Maui property
Unit was well furnished and clean. Only complaint is that MB sun screen was broken in the down position. I called Vacasa upon checkin to request the screen’s repair, and it wasn’t during our 5 day stay. I had to rig a temporary solution to keep the screen up.

Great Ocean Front Condo
Fabulous condo on the ocean. Well stocked and very clean. Had everything we could possibly need to prepare breakfast daily and have afternoon cocktails overlooking the ocean. First day, the coffee maker was not working and within hours we had a brand new replacement. Amazing customer service. Unfortunately, A/C did not work for the entire stay and I expect Vacasa or the homeowner will compensate us for this. Location was great, direct ocean front. Washer/Dryer in unit as well as laundry detergent was a major plus!

Best view ever!
Stayed here for 3 nights. The pros: easy check in and parking, heated pool, jacuzzi, towels provided at pool entrance, plenty of lounge chairs, view. The cons: no coffee for first morning, rugs need replacing, could use more wine glasses as it's great condo for couples. In all, would stay again and highly recommend.

All the comforts of home in paradise!
I LOVE this condo! Location is key! The condo is beautifully furnished and the view is amazing! I stayed here in December booked through AirBnB, then again in February. Except this this second time around I booked directly through Vacasa and saved a couple hundred bucks! I plan on returning to this beautiful condo as much as possible. Everything you need is there, from cooking pots to beach gear such as beach chairs, floating devices down to sunscreen! No need to over pack either, they have a washing machine and dryer there. This is my family's favorite spot! Thank you Vacasa for a wonderful and memorable stay! Mahalo!

Wonderful - stunning views, convenient
We had a wonderful stay at Mahana 618 in late December 2022. The construction was not a problem - we heard drilling on one day and there was some scaffolding up on the non-ocean side. Water pressure and water temperature in the shower were a little inconsistent but it sounds like water pressure was a problem in that whole region that week. The views from the condo are incredible and we spent a lot of time watching whales in the distance from the lanai (bring binoculars). Unit is nicely updated. We liked that parking was close and free and that there was no resort fee. We enjoyed snorkeling from the beach about 300 m to the south (just S of the Westin).

Beautiful condo BUT not during construction
This was a lesson learned for us to not book a rental if there is a notation of construction, especially not at a premium price of a $1,000 a night. I saw the construction notation in August but naively thought maybe the majority of work would be completed by late February. The drilling noise was awful and sounds like it's coming through your wall. That noise is now on my top 10 list of worst sounds. It wasn't possible to hold a normal conversation or hear the tv. We tried to make light of it saying our stay would make a good sitcom episode. We've been to Maui a few times and have done all the touristy things. We booked this trip specifically for relaxing on the lanai while whale watching but this wasn't possible during the day. On a positive note, the condo itself is clean, nice, has amazing view and easy access. Under normal circumstances I would've rated the condo a 5.

Unforgettable Getaway: A Dream Vacation Home Next to Kaanapali Beach
I recently had the pleasure of staying at one of the most exceptional vacation homes I have ever experienced. Located right next to the stunning Kaanapali Beach, this rental exceeded all my expectations and provided an unforgettable getaway. First and foremost, the location was absolutely perfect. Waking up each morning and being just steps away from the breathtaking Kaanapali Beach was a dream come true. The proximity allowed me to indulge in the beauty of the ocean, and the added bonus was the incredible sight of turtles right outside the balcony. It was truly magical to witness these majestic creatures in their natural habitat, without having to spend extra on turtle tours. This alone made my stay here priceless. The vacation rental itself was a gem. It truly felt like a home away from home, offering all the amenities one could ask for. The full kitchen was a delight, allowing me to prepare my own meals and enjoy them in the comfort of a cozy and well-appointed space. The king-sized bedroom provided the utmost comfort and ensured a restful night's sleep, which is essential when you're on vacation. One of the highlights for me was the convenience of having an in-house laundry and dryer. This made it incredibly easy to pack light and keep my clothes fresh throughout my stay. Additionally, the inclusion of beach umbrellas and chairs was a thoughtful touch. It saved me the hassle and expense of renting them at a resort, which can often be quite pricey. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the effort put into making my stay as enjoyable as possible. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough about this vacation rental. From its unbeatable location next to Kaanapali Beach to the amazing sightings of turtles right outside the balcony, every aspect of my stay was simply incredible. The full kitchen, king-sized bedroom, in-house laundry, and beach amenities made this rental feel like a complete home. If you're looking for an unforgettable vacation experience, I highly recommend booking this rental. You won't be disappointed.

It is all and more than what the pictures show and other reviews say!
We were impressed from the moment we walked into unit 618! We arrived after dark and the lights and A/C were on. The large picture window and two big sliders that lead to the very private lanai are amazing. All you see from there is the ocean, beach and lovely palm trees! As for cleanliness, place was spotless. Kitchen was perfect for making morning coffee and breakfast. Frig has an icemaker, so that was convenient! Furniture in living area was comforable too. The bed is pretty comfortable and not broken down. The bathroom vanity area is on the small size, but with a little planning, no issues for two of us. The washer/dryer was so nice to have and they supply the soap. The twoTommy Bahama beach chairs, igloo cooler and thick beach towels made our times on the beach very comfortable! As for the Mahana, the place is great! Quiet and not a ton of people all around. There is a free concierge service available in the lobby to help with reservations, etc. The pool area is small but nice, but since we are not poolside dwellers, it did not matter. You can leave the pool area and walk right down to the beach in 1 minute! The Mahana has easy access to the North end of boardwalk that travels all the way South to Black Rock/Sheraton. There are many restaurants and other beach access points along the way. We enjoyed Dukes several times which is a 5 min walk next door! You can snorkel off the beaches right here and walk a long ways on the beach if you choose! From our lanai we saw sea turtles poking their heads out of the surf, whales spouting, a pod of dolphins go by and a curious Maui mongoose playing around in the bushes below our window down by the grass area as well as many varieties of birds! You can easily drive to many places due to the location close to Hwy 30. Town of Lahaina is like 7 miles south and Kapalua and Napili are just a few miles to the North. There are stores, groceries, restaurants and other service oriented places close by. We rented gear from the Snorkel Store and they were great to work with. Parking was never an issue, even when returning later into the evening. Overall, we feel that you get a LOT for what you pay for here at Mahana unit 618. We were extremely satisfied and will surely come back to this very unit when we return to Maui next time! It helped make our 30th wedding anniversary a perfect and relaxing experience!!

50th Birthday Vacation!
Under normal circumstances, I’m sure this room is exceptional! We arrived at a time when the AC system was being upgraded or fixed. We were warned ahead of time, and we figured we would be fine, but stepping into the unit was very, very hot!! The temp read 96 degrees inside. The unit did have 2 fans and a swamp cooler?? One of those that you added water to, but this cooler seemed old. I had trouble figuring out how to use it. We ran into a neighbor who said she’s a 20 year old owner and she suggested we leave the front door open and let the air flow through. That worked great!! It cooled off the unit better than the little cooler provided. She also told us it was safe. We stayed in 618, which was at the end of the hall…. So we didn’t have to worry about anyone walking by. I wish we had been told about this alternative way to cool the unit from the beginning. That’s all it needed. Other than that, Vacasa/ The Owners refunded me a bit back on my stay for the inconvenience, and that was appreciated! I would definitely recommend this unit for a stay! The view is exceptional!! I liked that the beach below was never too crowded. We went walking toward the hotel/resort areas and the amount of people on those beaches was outrageous! I was thankful for our area that was less populated and had plenty of room on the beach to swim, lounge & sit without much disturbance. And it wasn’t loud. The food trucks are nearby, The Times grocery store is right across the street. It’s a great area.
