This condo made a great home base on our trip to Maui. It was very clean and easy to access. We loved having breakfast outside every morning and really appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean, spacious condo well stocked with everything you need to have fun in Maui. Had breakfast on the large deck every morning with a beautiful mountain view. Loved the closet filled with beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and beach toys. Would love to stay here again!

Perfect stay!
We loved staying at this property! The resort was clean, friendly and a great location. Within steps to a beautiful beach and not a trek to get to beach/pool and back to room with little kids. The beach chairs and boogie board was a huge plus. The cooler and ice maker in the garage were great for adventure days. One of the best trips we’ve had to Hawaii. We will be staying here again if we come back to Maui!

The condo was easy to access and was clean, which was very important with an infant crawling around. The stroller was so convenient to have. The kitchen was well stocked. We had a drainage issue in the bathtub and the problem was resolved within an hour of contacting the host. The space was a little small and lacked storage for food, but fit our family of four (two adults, a toddler and an infant) just fine. Would recommend for families with small children.

Fantastic Condo
We had an amazing week's vacation at the property. The condo is extremely well presented and clean. The main bed was very comfortable and the kids sleeping on the pull out sofa were also happy. The kitchen was stocked with all equipment needed during our stay. The pools and beach access at the property were great. We spent the majority of our time there with the kids. Duke's was great for dinner, as was the food truck park which we could walk to. Overall I would highly recommend the condo for a great break.

Just returned from 8 nights in this lovely unit! Very clean, comfortable, and all we needed for a relaxing getaway! Excellent communication with hosts, we arrived late from a flight and keys/ wrist bands were waiting with the security folks as advised. Underground parking (lots when we were there) and a few extra amenities that made our visit so wonderful. Travelled with family who rented a couple other units in the building and ours was nicer than the others in everyone's opinion! Thanks for the memories!!

Fantastic unit in a fantastic resort!
This was our second time staying at Honua Kai, but our first time staying in this unit. We knew we would love the resort from our prior stay, but this unit was perfect for our family of 4. The unit was very clean and well appointed, and with terrific mountain views being on the 8th floor. Kitchen had everything we needed to prep a few easy meals, laundry in the unit and lots of provided gear for our beach adventures (chairs, umbrella, sand toys, coolers, etc). Would definitely book again!

Enjoyed this unit very much. This unit had everything we needed for our stay, even kid friendly serveware. (Just a note, they did not have sand toys so expect to buy some when you get there even though it’s pictured in the listing.) The AC was strong and the lanai was spacious with lovely sunrise views of the mountains. If you’re planning on staying at the Honua Kai resort, we highly recommend this unit.

It was very nice, but could use some updates. Higher toilet, safety bars in shower and new non skid for bath tub.also 2 week stay more than 2 and half rolls of tp. Yes they did bring more. Also no spices for cooking, our other travelers had plenty in there unit.

Beautiful, safe, convenient resort in Kaanapali
We came to Maui over Christmas with the entire family and we all stayed in separate condos within the Honua Kai resort. It’s a beautiful and well maintained property with various pools fit for kids and adults of all ages. It was also nice to have Duke’s restaurant on property for a quick bite or drinks by the pool. This particular tower of the resort also had a general store which was so convenient! This unit was clean and well maintained. It also had plenty of items for cooking, for kids, and for taking to the beach. The property management company contacted us immediately on arrival and was very responsive to our needs. We only contacted them once when the shower was slow to drain, and they sent someone over immediately to fix it. That was so nice. Would stay here again! Maui is pure paradise.

The description of the listing is on point. The bed was very comfortable. The place is big enough for family of 4 (2 teenagers). Only negative was the construction below us it’s an eye sore and we really couldn’t use the lanai because of the dust But u can hardly hear the construction noise.The facility was great n close to what you will need. Will definitely stay here again , hopefully by then the construction will be done.

Good stay
Suite was clean and ready. Property manager was responsive with issues. Beds were comfy, tv and wifi worked great. Selection of board games was nice add as well. Beach chairs and boogie boards included were in good shape. Lanai had great morning sun and shade in the evening. Should note, only 6 place settings so we had to wash cutlery every day, sometimes multiple times. We did have a few a problems, AC quit working, property manager had someone out to look at it within hours. Code didn’t work in all the towel machines. Small roaches were seen in and around suite and property. Normal for Hawaii but still not welcomed. Also, only one bar of soap, would suggest owner leaves sink and shower soap bars. Few small adds from owner would make this a 5 star in line with other suites we have booked.

Excellent stay
My stay at Honua Kai was amazing. The amenities at the resort are excellent. My 3 year old was at the pool all day most days. The lazy river and water slide add extra fun to the pools. We were always able to find lounge chairs and enjoyed the drink service from Duke’s. Duke’s restaurant is right on site and has delicious food. They take reservations up to 2 months in advance, and I would highly recommend getting one, as it is quite popular. The condo is exactly as pictured and described, and was perfect for myself, husband, toddler and baby. Having the baby equipment there was very helpful. The host was very responsive and made the whole experience easy. We will definitely be back, and will be recommending this unit to our friends as well. Some baby friendly recommendations and restaurants in the area are: Baby Beach, Waikiki Brewing, Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Wonderful stay at Konea830
Had a wonderful stay at Konea 380. Unit looked just like the photos. The resort was beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked with anything that you could possibly need. The only thing that I did not give 5 stars was cleanliness because the unit was a little dusty. Otherwise, the unit was very clean. Didn’t require any assistance while we were at the unit, but all communication between myself and management received a quick response. The bed was very comfortable and condo was well stocked with extras, towels, blankets, etc. Only suggestion for the owners would be to add an additional mirror. There is only one mirror for the entire unit. It makes it difficult to try to get ready for dinner or your day with only one mirror. This is a minor detail that could make the stay a little less complicated. Maui is an amazing island with a lot to see and do OR the resort offers plenty of relaxation. Overall, a perfect stay and would recommend to others and would stay again.

Great Location in Kaanapali - had some issues
We stayed for 8 days. Honua Kai is a lovely resort for a family with young kids and is conveniently located in the heart of Kaanapali. Close to the beach, and wonderful pools. Proximity to food trucks and supermarket were also great. During our stay, we had 2 issues. #1. Cockroaches and #2 Dishwasher stopped working 1) cockroaches(!). As soon as we checked in, we noticed there were roach traps set up in the kitchen corners, by the laundry machine, and even on the countertops. So we made sure that there is no food left in the kitchen to attract roaches to come out and wipe counters every night to make sure not even a drop of water. Yet during our 8 days of the stay, we saw at least 3 incidences of roaches crawling the kitchen counter and/or walls. We also saw roaches in the trash chute room, so it's more of a building infestation than the actual unit. (small black roaches, not big ones) Some people say it's Hawaii so there are always cockroaches. but I've stayed in plenty of places in Maui (hotels, houses, and condos) over the past 20 years, and know which places have good pest control, and unfortunately, Konea Tower in Honua Kai was not. As for #2, Dishwasher stopped working at the beginning of our stay, and the property manager couldn't find a repair/maintenance person to come fix it during our stay. This was also unfortunate since we had 2 young kids, so we used the kitchen quite often to cook food for the kids. Hence, we spent a good amount of time dishwashing and something we would rather want to avoid during our vacation.

Wonderful Space for a Couple or Small Family
This unit was perfect for our family. Nice kitchen with all of the pots & pans that you'd need. AC works great and the lanai/patio is wonderful! Even though this is not an ocean view unit (you can still see the ocean from one part of the lanai) it is a great view especially at night time with the Hawaiian music and food truck park lights nearby. The owner even has some board games and books to pass the time if you happen to be on Maui during a rare bad weather day. Parking is underground, but only about 50 steps away from the elevator that brings you right to your room. Room is located super close to the elevator and the sound proofing is very good, so you don't hear neighbors or hallways traffic. We will most definitely stay again!
