Our stay at Hanua Kai was amazing! From the start of booking until checkout, the owners and property manager were accessible and responsive. The personal touches and local recommendations were all spot-on! This condo was perfect for our family of 5. We look forward to visiting again.

Hanua Kai is a great, family-friendly property and this was a great condo. All as listed, convenient check in and out, and a perfect place to stay and explore the west side of Maui.

Great Vacation Rental
This condo is laid out beautifully with furnishings and decor to match. Very clean with all the amenities you could look for. Location looks at the beautiful West Maui mountains. It’s rare for this complex Honua Kai to not be looking into other peoples windows. Really enjoyed the location and privacy. Management was terrific. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this unit again.

Amazing condo with an impressive balcony and view!
We had a really nice seamless stay at this condo! Everything we needed was there for us and we felt comfortable and able to relax right away. The view from the unit was stunning! The humongous balcony overlooks a large open grass field with the beautiful Maui mountains as its backdrop. And we saw a handful of rainbows! We'd definitely stay there again!

Beautiful Property and outdoor Space
We loved the area we were in, the private beach access was so nice and just a short walk from the Condo. The fact the Condo had all kinds of beach supplies for us to use was a great bonus. Communication was easy and friendly. We really enjoyed the huge Lanai and sat out there everyday enjoying the sunshine and view. Would recommend this place and would love to go again. We talked to the owner and they recommended things to do and places to eat and we loved all the things they recommended. Thanks for an amazing stay in a beautiful location.

Beautiful space and setting. The pictures have been described as accurate in other reviews but I don’t think the pictures could capture the space. It was awesome. Host was gracious and attentive. Family friendly. Can’t say enough about it.

Well above my expectations
Really nice property and facilities. Rooms were large and comfortable. King size beds were big enough even for my 6’7” friend and his wife. Lanai was a very nice amenity that we enjoyed cocktails on before dinner. View was of the mountain side but still very beautiful. A sliver of ocean view but the pool was right on the beach! Duke’s is next door for easy meals. A little spendy but high quality and handy. Overall, we will stay here again.

Super easy check-in and check-out with a few communications via text with the manager. This condo is one-of-a-kind with the only corner balcony we could see on our side of the building. We enjoyed having the lanai doors open with a view of the volcano and big sky. Everything was comfortable and very clean. It was nice to be able to make food and have a communal space to relax as opposed to a hotel room. The pools of the resort were great and enjoyed by us and our kids ages 10 and 8. Resort is also across the street from a grocery store, pizza place, Slappy Cakes (great breakfast) and coffee. Would definitely return to this condo again!

Heaven on Earth!
Our family of four had an amazing time at Honua Kai! The condo was perfect for us and was equipped with everything we needed. We loved lounging on the spacious lanai in the mornings and evenings. The unit was immaculate and boasted quality linens. The owners and property manager were attentive and responsive to our needs. Although, the feel was different than our previous visit due to the unfortunate circumstances of Lahaina, we are glad that we made the decision to keep our reservation. We made memories as a family and our hearts were touched by the locals and the hospitality that was exhibited. We will be looking to occupy this unit again for future vacations as it was perfection.

The room was very spacious and comfortable with nice decor. It was many times nicer than the pictures. But unfortunately during our stay there was a fire in Lahaina. It was very sad and painful. We were very anxious but the owner, Amlr, helped us. He was really kind and sincere. We are really grateful to him. The tragedy in Lahaina is really sad. It must be very sad for those who lost their precious family members. But I hope one day Lahaina will recover. I hope to come back to wonderful Maui again someday.

Great unit and great location!
Our unit was spacious, clean and a great view of the mountains. The outdoor patio was amazing! To our surprised, it wrapped around the corner. The unit was supplied with all the basics and the overall property was beautiful....well kept and clean. We loved the various options of pools and easy access to the beach. The walking path was also a plus to visit other restaurants or simply go for a walk/run. The fitness center is on the smaller side and would get busy in the mornings, but overall it did the job. The onsite contact checked in with us at the beginning and during the week which is nice. The host also ensured we had everything we needed throughout the week. The only (minor) negative is the unit coffee machine was not working properly so we had to get our morning joe from the first floor market. Overall.....What a great experience!!
