Awesome vacation.

Beautiful Condo and Resort
We will stay in this condo again. The location was perfect for all of our activates on the island and will it being located at the end of all of the resorts, it was quiet. Do recommend this condo to families and extended family interested in traveling together.

Great stay in Maui
We loved our stay here! Everything worked well, and the view is wonderful. The location of this unit on the property was perfect as well. Close to the pools and waterslide, yet far enough that you don’t hear everything going on. The management communicated well and in a timely manner. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Simply awesome!!!
The view was everything you see in the pictures..we watched whales right off the balcony and location of the place was ideal. The management co proactively checked in to make sure everything was going well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Hope I do!

Absolutely amazing comfortable condo for two families!
A total of 8 adults shared this space & had plenty of space to lounge, cook, & sleep. The beautiful view and whale watching was spectacular. We enjoyed Maui to the fullest & were always greeted by friendly staff who were able to assist us whenever needed. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking or grilling which we enjoyed several nights. We'll definitely be back! Mahalo!

Spacious, well fitted out, with a fabulous lanai plus
The Honua Kai property was as advertised, clean, gracious, with beautifully manicured grounds and lots of space to stretch out. Unit 1025 was spacious with breathtaking views of the strait between the beach and Lanai from each of the rooms and especially the lanai. We saw whales every day splashing around in the ocean. It was truly special.

Family Fun!
We have been to Honua Kai many times. This way by far the nicest unit we have stayed in. Spectacular view! We had to reach out to the property management company a few times, and both times they were extremely quick with their response. Great company to work with! I would recommend this unit and Maui Life Reality to anyone looking for a quality family vacation in Maui.

Our 2nd year staying in this beautiful penthouse and it was as perfect & beautiful as the 1st time. Worth every penny!!! Beautiful view of the ocean where you see the perfect sunrise & sunset. Steven & Barry are so awesome & really are there for you when you need them. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Maui.

Amazing view, beautiful condo resort
We had a wonderful stay at this penthouse condo. Just a few steps to the pools and the sandy beaches. We enjoyed hanging out on the huge balcony with the amazing view daily. The resort is well maintained with lots of amenities. 3bed/3bath is a Perfect size for our family of 5, huge living room dining room with a beautiful view of the ocean below. Great view nice property
Pleasant stay, quiet setting, friendly people. Kitchen could of used better cleaning, pots and pan need be replaced, Teflon all scratched and scraped. Should be stocked with more toilet paper than was supplied for amount of people. All beds comfortable!! Ventless dryer not so desirable, but absolutely better than nothing.

Beautiful, Serene, Perfect!
First, let me say I never write reviews. This is a first, only because I have never loved a place as much as I loved this one. We had everything we needed or wanted, there were 3 separate climate controls, the view was spectacular, the amenities amazing, and I could go on and on. This place surpassed by far any property we have ever vacationed at through VRBO. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Scenic paradise
This place was very nice! There were some housekeeping issues like broken crown molding and leaky fridge. There could have been more living room furniture. The pillows on beds were flat. But other than that, it was pretty well equipped and the location was great! Liked the security and the valets were top notch!!

Wonderful!
We loved this condo the minute we walked in. It is spacious, clean, fresh and perfect for a family or two families. Having coffee on the lanai each morning was a great way to start my day. The kitchen is plenty big and filled with Viking appliances which makes cooking a breeze. Thank you! Working with Barry and Steve was so easy. They are prompt and knowledgeable. We did not get a chance to use the consciere, Mark, as we had already planned our hiking and golf from the mainland. We are looking forward to a return trip. Mahalo, Kim and Cindy

Everything we'd hoped for and more!
The pictures tell it all. Beautiful, well equipped condo with spectacular views. Some days it was difficult to pull ourselves away for island activities. Whale sightings galore. It was our 50th anniversary and we shared the condo with our two children's families. Very comfortable and more than enough room. We were particularly pleased with the quick responses we received from Barry & Lyle, whenever we had questions. No actual problems, just random questions and they still responded promptly.

Honua Kai 1025
Great 3 bedroom condo. Nice amenities and clean. The only complaint is that the kitchen was not well stocked at all. It was difficult to cook because it was lacking in proper cookware. The knives were dull, cheap pans, and no Tupperware for leftovers. Also, no extra blankets. Otherwise, nice place to stay and great pools. We complained about the kitchen after our stay and our concerns were addressed immediately by the rental agent. Hopefully the kitchen has improved.

Konea 1025 - perfect place to stay for a party of 7 or 8
Traveled with a family of 7. We stayed at the Honua Kai a few other times in the past, so we were specifically looking for a room there. We chose this suite because of the ability to change a king bed to two twin beds for teenage kids, and were very happy with the views and all of the amenities. We loved that they had beach chairs and umbrellas, and a cooler we could take to the beach. We definitely felt spoiled staying here for a week, and didn't want to leave! The one minor issue we had was with the washer and dryer. They warned us about it when we got there, but it's so small that it made it very difficult to wash our beach towels every day and have them dry by the next morning. Again, very minor detail.... didn't ruin our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Gorgeous, spacious condo.
We loved our stay at Honua Kai! The condo is spacious, well appointed and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen has nice appliances, plenty of flatware, glasses and dishes. Cooking spray, salt and pepper, and basic spices have been left by previous guests. There are TVs in every room. In one of the closets, plenty of beach toys and some beach chairs are available for guests to use. We spent much of our time on the lanai which has plenty of seating. The views are spectacular! We watched whales playing in the Pacific right off the shore. The resort staff was friendly and helpful. The pools were clean and our grandchildren loved the water slide. Dukes Beach Bar and Grill had great food and was convenient. There is a boardwalk along the beach which we enjoyed walking. The beach is not very wide but it didn't stop our grandchildren from playing in the sand and surf. Overall, we had a great vacation!

Vacation in Luxury
My family recently stayed in Unit 1025, and it was incredible. The unit was amazing. Views from every window! The bbq on the patio was a big bonus. My wife, myself, and our three children all fit comfortably in the master bedroom. The unit had a pack'n'play and a high chair, which was a big relief since we had our 10 month old daughter with us. My three young children were in heaven, they did not want to leave. Steve and Barry were very helpful, and were ready to help with any issues that arose. I will never stay in a hotel again. Honau Kai is the best. The pools are very nice, and the waterslide was a big attraction for my kids. The drinks served by Duke's restaurant around the pool were a big attraction for the grown ups. The mai tai's are a great price during happy hour. The food at Duke's may be a bit pricy, but was worth it. There were lots of beach chairs in the unit as well as boogie boards and other beach toys. The beach is just steps away. If you have young kids, the baby beach is just a short drive away. If you are considering going to Maui, book this unit! You will be happy you did.

The Place to Stay in Maui!
We loved the condo---adored the view from the Lanai---and had an absolutely fantastic time! We are in our late 60s and early 70s, and we met out kids (in their 30s) and our granddaughter (age 2) for an 11 night stay over Thanksgiving. Everyone loved the condo, the pools, and the beach. It appeals to all ages. Did I mention we had a good time? Now for some details: The management of this condo is excellent. Barry, Thomas, and the entire gang are very responsive to your every need. I was cooking Thanksgiving dinner at the condo and had a bowl obsession, and a need for more silverware. What we requested---and even more---was delivered in a very timely fashion. The Lanai has a stunning view of the ocean, and you can even see your party in the river pool below. We had most of our meals on the Lanai, but of course, enjoyed visiting Dukes regularly also. The condo is well situated for quick visits to other beaches---we especially liked DT Fleming Beach Park (a ten minute drive) , and the Kahekili Beach Park just a short walk down the beach walk from Honua Kai. At the Honua Kai beach area, the best beach is on the third entry on the left. The condo has great beach toys for your use from Tommy Bahama beach chairs, sand castle making toys, and beach umbrellas. The beach walk itself is very scenic from Honua Kai to the other Kaanapali resorts, with lots of shopping and restaurants. We have returned home now and it is snowing. I would highly recommend 1025 at Honua Kai. It has plenty of room, was heavenly, has a view that can't be beat, and it never snowed once when we were there!
