"Bearing in mind that it was a Youth Hostel and not a hotel, we were very happy with our accomodation. The room was large and had a fridge which was a big plus for us. The beds were comfortable and everything in the en-suite bathroom worked well. The only downside was a lack of electrical sockets - there were two in the room and the fridge had to be plugged into one of them but we managed by charging a power bank when we were out and using that to charge mobile phones. "Staff was excellent and very helpful in every way. Amenities were great…crafts, games, bbq area, kitchen area, laundry facilities, sitting area, courtyard. Close enough to Billund airport."

"Location is fantastic! View across a meadow to the 1000 year old harbor and historic Ribe with the cathedral towering above it all. Somewhat basic accommodations, but everything was sparkling clean and worked. And the breakfast was delicious and very well stocked."

"Smelled so bad when we first came in. To say it with very few words, it was the worst experience ever. Definitely not clean, there were stains on the pillows and duvets, and the place did not look like it had been cleaned. The price for the stay was at the lower end - but definitely NOT worth it."

"The hotel is a hostel, so the room is basic and functional, but clean and simple. A table at which to work a TV and a comfortable bed. No kettle or drink making facility. The staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a sports arena complex so if you've no transport it's a bit isolated, but quiet and warm for a decent nights sleep. "

"Fantastic location for ferry. Great old building & beautiful rooms freshly painted & renovated. Awesome common area & guest facilities. I just didn’t find my bed that comfortable. The rest was great. "

"Grunnen til at jeg gir det 5 stjerner. Er at det nesten stod til forventningene iforhold til prisen. Jeg leste meg opp, og tok med meg vannkoker, vannbeholder. Eget senge tøy, laken og puter. Håndkleet. Og ting til å spise og drikke med. Jeg kunne ønske jeg også tok med meg en bøtte og mopp. For gulvet var skittent. Vi gikk med flippflopper inne. Jeg skulle hatt med meg en lang skjøteledning med flere stikk i. For det var bare en stilk kontakt med døra. Skulle hatt med oppvask såpe og oppvask...

"It was a good choice for staying over, kitchen was clean and useful and the rooms were decent, though a little dusty. Outdoor space is nice to have coffee in the morning. The surrounding area is very nice for walk, run, bike or dogs. "
