"We think that The Enchanted Sittelle is the perfect place to stay. The facilities are complete and as fo the setting and location, among forests and lakes, it couldn't be bettered. Our hosts, Christine and Bénigne, made us feel completely at home. Their welcome was warm and friendly and Christine explained how everything worked in the site so that we never had a problem with anything in the house. "The hotel is quite isolated and there are no dining options around. It is advertised as having air conditioning, but I would not rely on that. Luckily it cooled down at night. Comparing to other hotels in the area, it was overpriced for what it offers."

"My stay was in an apartment with a separate bedroom and lounge. All was comfortable, spacious and clean. The TV was only in the bedroom and it may have been nice to watch TV in the lounge. Dinner seemed to be available but I was not clear how you ordered it in advance. It would have been nice to have arranged this in advance. The nearest restaurant was only a 10 minute drive away but I was on a motorbike and it was raining. I did make use of the honesty bar that was provided and this was...

"Part of a road trip down though Switzerland onto Italian Lakes. Was a great convenient choice with a great steak restaurant next door. Breakfast was good but the queuing for the coffee machine was too long and affected the whole buffet queue! "

"Check in wasn't great - took 3 room changes to get the book ed twin room instead of a double. Restaurant was very good - good food with quick service. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Sadly our stay was spoiled by another hotel guest shouting and singing at 2am for about an hour. Eventually someone came to deal with it but our night's sleep was ruined. Also there were smokers in the non-smoking rooms which we could smell. "

"2 of party were disabled. We asked for ground floor rooms. This was confirmed by email that we had them. On arrival we were put on first floor no lift causing great pain to the 2 of us. Ruined our little break "

"Listed building so a little querky. No aircon but roof fan worked well, and quiet. Location 2 minute walk from town centre. Parking right beside hotel and safe. But above all the staff where extremely helpful 😀"

"It ok, however: The air con did not work and felt hot they said it would be fixed but was not had to sleep With an open window on the grownd for the second night! There was no hand dope by the sink. When I asked to please book me a taxi as my phone would not work it was only after begging as I had a train to catch a taxi was called! Therefore two bad nights and a stressful Morning"

"Stayed at this hotel as an overnight stop when travelling to Italy. Panicked when I saw check in closed at 9pm but as long as you have paid upfront you can check in on a computer there and are given a PIN code for your room. Room is what you expect, simple but clean. "
