We had to leave a day early and they called that morning and offered us a partial reimbursement for the extra day which we thought was very nice of them. The room and property looked like it had been recently updated and very clean. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. "

"We had seven people and needed all five bedrooms. Our 89 year old matriarch stayed downstairs in the primary and we dubbed her large bathroom the “girls” bathroom. We had plenty of room around the dining table for dining and making Lego Christmas ornaments! The views are spectacular and walking down the hill to the tree line and back is a workout! Great kitchen will all imaginable appliances. We made all meals on site except a Holiday Lunch at Shakertown. The property is clean, but some of the finishes (bathroom tile, faucets) could use a refresh. It’s not a problem at all, but don’t expect it to be like an austere hotel property. We felt at home. We will definitely stay here again."
