People should be aware that three of the rooms are on the three floors (inc ground) of the tower, so there are quite a few stairs which may be daunting for some. "Fantastic house and really well equipped, the house is cool inside with extremely comfortable beds and great sunset views. The pool is great and private. Patricia's response rate to questions is quick and any and all queries resolved. The only negative was the building works taking place next door/overlooking the driveway, a new house is being built and the noise from the machinery, cutting of metal, hammering etc was a little annoying. The noise is intermittent but did tend to start at 8am many...

"Wonderful spacious grand Chateau providing a perfect get together peaceful location for our multi-generation family get together of 15. Such a diversity of facilities in the locality for all ages. From Kayaking to walking or simply lazing by pool in total seclusion. Local baker made breakfast a real pleasure and family local restaurants a real highlight. Thank you for such a great welcome and sharing your fresh produce that so enhanced the quality of our meals."

"The outside of the property is lovely. The pool is fabulous with a good seating area, however, we did have to clean the pool ourselves which we've never had to do at any other property we have rented. The interior of the house is very old and could do with having a thorough clean. There were a lot of cobwebs and some of the kitchen utensils weren't very clean. There was also a smell of soot in the lounge which exacerbated my daughters asthma so we chose not to use that room. Part of the house...
