"This is a stunning properly, off the beaten track but near enough to drive to Autun to see the sights and dine out. The decor is stylish and contemporary, the bed was huge, as was the room. "It took us some time to find the property but staying at the Domaine was worthwhile the search. Upon our arrival at the reception, we were confused about which room we were supposed to get. It ended up that we received an upgrade in the form of a suite. We stayed one night but hope to return next year again for a few nights more. "Maison Sainte Barbe is a little haven of peace and loveliness, in an ancient building that has been sympathetically cared for. It was our final stop on a 2500 mile roadtrip before heading to Ouisteham, and I'd have been glad to stay longer.
