Review for First Hotel, Jönköping

We recently stayed at First Hotel in Jönköping, and while there were some positive aspects, there were also a few things that didn’t meet our expectations. We booked a room with a queensize bed, which was comfortable enough, but the room itself felt much smaller than expected. The køjeseng (bunk) beds were a big disappointment – they were extremely hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. On the plus side, we appreciated having access to laundry facilities, which made it easy to wash and dry our clothes. However, the iron provided was broken, and despite the receptionist’s promise that we would be able to use one, it was never resolved during our stay. One issue we experienced was with the cleaning staff frequently opening our door to check the room while we were trying to relax and sleep. In fairness, this was partly our fault, as we forgot to put up the “do not disturb” sign. Overall, while the hotel had some conveniences, there were enough issues that impacted our comfort during the stay.

Prisvärt hotell med välstädade rum. Frukosten var toppen. Ventilationen på rummet var så stark att WC-dörren vibrerade. Men det gick att fixa genom att lägga något emot dörren. Det är enkelt att anlända hit med bil och det gick lätt att parkera bilen bredvid hotellet.
