"We have stayed a few times at this hotel and found it VERY clean, and friendly service from the staff. The only thing we didn't appreciate was a tween hockey team staying in the hotel and the children were running up and down the halls to the point where we had to open the door and ask them to quiet down, and when that didn't work called the front desk and they handled it. This is a posted policy in their elevator, we would appreciate the parents of these kids to be more attentive and respect that others are staying and paying to stay here. Other than that, we had a fantastic stay, and the hot breakfast was great too! We WILL return to this spectacular hotel! "

"The owners are absolutely lovely. The beds are comfy. The price is incredible. The facilities are older but well maintained. Great bang for your buck. Lots of take out options not far away. Close to Kingston but without the noise. Quiet area. Cute little park area for the kids in the summer. What's not to like?"

"The lady at check in moved me to a room with one queen bed. I had booked one with two, as that was what was listed as the least expensive option, but I am the only one staying here, so I only need the one bed. The best thing about the room is that you basically park right outside and it is a ground floor room. So much more convenient. Breakfast was a brown bag with two packaged muffins and two juice boxes. The coffee maker is what I call a 'tea bag' one. Microwave and fairly big bar sized fridge worked fine. This room had a jet tub that I didn't use and a walk in shower in a fairly large bathroom. Also a fireplace and doors to a patio - but it's winter so I didn't go out. There were a couple of glass wine glasses on the mantle which I thought would have been a nice touch if I'd had the opportunity to use them! It shows it age in spots, but I would still come back."
