"First off, the woman who opened up the villa was extremely rude and only showed my daughter in law around the villa, insisting everyone else should wait outside. Afer 15 minutes, I'd had enough and went in telling this lady we were coming in. Added to this, the smoke alarms throughout the villa did not work, and as there was no way of securing the separate apartments, we had to close the metal shutters at night. With no smoke alarms, this is unbelievably dangerous. The facilities were adequate...

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Karl and Agentas villa, the town of Laurens is a very sleepy area in the middle of a wine county. Our young children enjoyed watching the small tractors ferry grapes to the local winery. The locals of the village were very friendly. The Villa is beautiful with a clean good sized pool which we spent most of our days by. The house was a great size for 5 adults and 3 small young children. Only issue, the floors and surfaces were very dusty which we had to clean...

"House well equipped and comfortable. Access to UK programmes via Sky box appreciated, but no Wi-fi a bit disappointing. A few points I feel are worth making - I hope you’ll take them in the spirit they are offered: Lounge seating a bit uncomfortable. Pool clearly has a leak and needed topping up daily. Some light switches not very secure - one in particular is for the short hall leading to the 2nd bedroom. We enjoyed our 10 days here, allowing us to visit Soubes again after selling our villa...

"Everything about this property is lovely. It is nicely decorated and equipped with all modern conveniences. We were visiting family and didn't have to cook any meals, but the kitchen is well equipped. We will have to come again when the weather is warmer to use the pool and enjoy the garden. I highly recommend it!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful villa. The pool is amazing, and what a fabulous view from the terrace we will definitely miss that! The check in process was very straightforward and helpful. The area is stunning and there is lots to do if you like walking, cycling or canoeing. Day trips to Béziers and Carcassonne are also possible. The shop in the village is also worth a mention, it’s amazing and has everything you will need. Definitely 10/10."
