"This is the perfect honeymoon destination! The suites have two rooms to a building, so you don't have the noise and crowding of a standard hotel. The rooms feel private and quiet, and come with your own private balcony section. Every inch of the property was spotless. Even the bathrooms at the beaches and the pools were immaculate. The landscaping is beautiful. It's also rather spread out, so if you like walking, you can stay active. If you have mobility challenges or are tired, they have golf carts and you can request a ride at any time. Even though it is a large resort, it never felt crowded. There were always beach and pool chairs available. Even the large dining hall was never packed or noisy. They have thought of plenty of activities so you will never be bored. Between the two beaches, water sports, multiple pools, fitness center, spa, restaurants, game areas, tennis and pickle ball quarts, mini golf, and daily activities, you will run out of time before you run out of things to do. And even if you do get stir crazy, there are many great options for excursions, with knowledgeable staff to help you pick out what you are looking for (shout out to Gem!) All the staff were wonderful. Everyone was kind and professional. We can't finish a review without talking about the food. They have options for every diet/preference. The buffet is amazing! Everything was DELICIOUS, cooked to perfection, at the perfect temperature. They have adventurous local options and basic staples. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Calabash Villa. We were four friends, so appreciated the space of 4 great bedrooms, with comfortable beds. We loved the pool area with sofas and dining area and especially the lovely view with the surrounding garden. We felt well prepared before we arrived with information about the villa, the area and Antigua and we were well looked after by the local teamfor anything we needed help with during our stay. "Went for our honeymoon. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and kind. The place is beautiful and is very relaxing. The food options varied daily, and were always a hit. "

"I had an amazing time at Hodges Bay. From when I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Jaheim (I hope I got his name right). He offered me and my guest a beverage and a cool towel since it was very hot outside. We were then given a tour of the grounds by Javid and Jamar and then quickly taken to our rooms, allowing us to unwind and relax. Throughout our stay, both Javid and Jamar were very helpful even assisting us with excursions off the property. The property itself was very lovely. Clean and beautiful! I couldn’t have asked for a better ocean front resort. The beds were comfortable and once I figured out how to get the shower water to a hot temperature, I was at ease. We never had to ask them to clean our space or ask for extra towels. The room was always well equipped with what we needed. I cannot forget to mention that upon our arrival to the room, they had fresh fruits and brownies waiting for us. The beach was beautiful and we had no issues with seaweed. Access to Prickly Pear was a bonus and I cannot put into words how beautiful the scenery was. Jean-Marie was a dear! She set up travel arrangements for Barbuda. She made sure we had a taxi to and from. Anything that we needed, she made happen and it never seemed like we were asking for too much. Tanika, Anastasia, and Tango were also amazing at the bar! Drinks were strong and delicious and the food even better. The pools, the spa… Omg the spa! Everything was amazing! Please do not hesitate to book here. You won’t regret it."
