"Overall this was a great place. For the most part it is a quiet get away with plenty to do. We were unfortunate in that our timing was not the best. Just so happened to be a large graduation celebration going on and all of the participants arrived at the same time as we did. So check in was very crazy. "Beautiful small hotel with a very very good kitchen. Staff could be a little more engaging but I guess this also has to do with the essential learning curve of the tourism industry. Super good wine selection but you really have to ask the manager for advice because staff have no idea of what’s on the wine list."

"Loved the Communal Hotel in Telavi. It's charming and beautifully designed. We stayed in room no 6 which had balcony access, which made for a lovely few hours of reading. It's right across from Kera, a ceramic shop and 3 minutes walk away from Odlisi (a must-try cheese bar). Its restaurant, Doli, is fantastic and the breakfast was also amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer."

"Small very cosy hotel. Very friendly hospitable staff. This is not a five-star hotel and it is not located on the lake's shore, but thus it is better affordable than other lake hotels. Nevertheless, the lake is in two-minutes vicinity, and the hotel can offer everything one may need to spend a comfortable and pleasant night. We really enjoyed staying there and I hope we'll get back one day."
