"We enjoyed cozy fires and water life views in this unique beach house. Accommodations were perfect for my family! Lovely kitchen, loved the views from every room...even in mixed PNW weather. Best part was looking for shells, crabs, and seastars at low tide. Great place!"

"We loved our stay at Woodsy Retreat. Our hosts had welcome drinks, crackers and cheeses, and a lovely continental breakfast ready and waiting for us! We loved the cozy decore and homey feel. The pool table was such a treat! We will rent this anazing place again."

"We rented this house for 11 of us and there was room to spare! The kitchen was pretty well stocked for cooking and baking, there were two refrigerators (a second oven would have been ideal), beautiful views, right on the lake and a big open living and dining room. It was perfect!"

"The House was a lot bigger than expected so much room to spread out. The view was fantastic, my wife is a photographer and spent the early morning on the beach taking pictures. It was close enough to town to be able to get groceries yet far enough out to feel secluded. Can’t wait for the next time we are in the Shelton area and need a place to stay. "

"We had a wonderful stay. It is a very beautiful special spot. I enjoyed reading up on the history of Vashon-Maury Islands, shopping in town and watching the Super Bowl with a great water view. Great Wi-Fi. Very comfortable and cozy inside on cold days. We would highly recommend. "

"My friends and I stayed here during an awesome wedding weekend, and it was the perfect retreat during inevitable nuptial stress! The huge window facing the water was almost too gorgeous to believe. We also loved the collection of VHS tapes - we kicked back and watched Father of the Bride while getting ready. "The updated home was both quiet and clean. Located in the Ruston area, it was perfect location. Easy access to Point Defiance Park and many other things in Tacoma. Although we didn’t cook here, it seemed to be very well stocked with utensils, coffee, etc. We would stay here again. "

"This house was perfect for my family when we visited Tacoma for state wrestling. Very clean and welcoming and not far from where we needed to be. Would stay here the next time we are over in that area "
