"We live on-island and had family in town so we booked this house on the water to accommodate everyone. This house was well-equipped for cooking insofar as cooking utensils. Be sure to bring your own necessities, like oil, salt, and sugar. It was very comfortable—beds and bedding—and there were climate controls in each room. You’ll want to buy some firewood in town for the crazy wood stove. Very clean. Amazing views. Great showers. We would stay here again. "

"This place was better than advertised! You basically have the entire shoreline to yourself. We strolled up and down exploring ocean treasures several times daily. The kids asked if we could return during summer on day one! The kitchen is great! We cooked an entire thanksgiving dinner no problem. "A great place to take walks, sit in the hot tub, and cook a festive Thanksgiving meal together. Well laid out and furnished for adults and kids. Thanks to the hosts!!"

"The bed felt like sleeping in a cloud. The whole place felt new and very well done and thought through. We took the kayak and the rowboat out on the lake. We were a little surprised to find that the unit was below a residence, but there may as well have been no one above us. The bathroom was so luxurious feeling. "Our overall stay was great. The property was clean (except for the windows) and had everything we needed and is in a great location. The pictures are a bit deceiving, the outside of the property looks nothing like the pictures and could use quite a bit of updating. Kathy was very kind and responsive to all messages. "

"If you’re looking for nature, this is the place. You can literally walk out the door and be on a hiking trail. The hosts were communicative throughout our stay. We were surprised by a number of unexpected treats, including continental breakfast, wine, cheese, bread and sweets. It was a nice surprise! The hosts are upstairs, but they're really quiet.
