cute apartment perfect for our stay
wanted a place close to hiking spots and other attractions- worked great for us! coffee across the street was awesome as well. only 20 min from stowe for some shopping and food. would definitely come back for skiing :)

I had a great time during my stay. The apartment was furnished comfortably and had many amenities, making it feel like a home away from home. It was spacious enough for relaxation and privacy, making it a perfect spot for my family. The quiet and peaceful area allowed us to spend some quality downtime together. Johnson's small-town atmosphere was welcoming, with friendly local shops and cafes. We would definitely consider staying there again for a calm and peaceful vacation.

Weekend in Vermont
The apartment had a lot more space than I was expecting. We visited to attend the Disc Golf World Championship in Smuggler's Notch. Location was great for accessing the area and theres a wonderful coffee shop across the street.

Great little Spot.
Everything was comfy cozy and clean. The whole process was great. Start to finish. We stayed here for a quick weekend to attend a wedding in Stowe. It was nice getting to know the area and in particular seeing the Dog’s Head Falls close by. Thanks for a great stay.

It’s a nice and clean unit. The owner is responding quickly when we had a minor issue with lockbox. The supplies in the room are sufficient. The only thing to mention is soundproof in master bedroom not good. We had to use earplugs to not hear the talking sound from house on the other side. Overall, we enjoyed this unit and will recommend it to friends.

Convenient spot for stowe trip
3 of us stayed at this apartment for a weekend snowboarding at stowe. It was a bit further to stowe than we anticipated, but an easy drive either way. The queen bedroom was very comfortable and we also loved the big, spacious bathroom and kitchen! Thanks Chris!

We were up in Johnson for a wedding that was about a mile away from this property (dumb luck on our part) so we didn't really make use of the amenities in the unit other than the coffee maker - which was great and thank you hosts for leaving the Vermont ground coffee. I was sad to not find any creamer or powdered alternatives in the unit as I'm not a black coffee drinker, but other than that, all was quite tidy, clean, organized and comfy.

Responsive owner
First of all, the owner is very responsive. We had a small problem and owner was on it in minutes and handled it. The apartment is kind of unique. It’s in the back and upstairs of a downtown, early 20th century retail building. A little tough to find at first, but once we were in it worked out well for our ski trip to Smugglers. Johnson is a nice little town and Moog’s Joint is a good place to hang out at night. Good little casual ski trip apartment.

Awesome Host and Town
The host offered the most plushy towels I have ever used at any vrbo/bnb property. Chris responds quickly to my inquiries - thank you for accommodating my special request to be able to complete my work meetings at the apt. Some appliances at the property are new - the 4-slice bread toaster, the coffee maker, etc. I like my bed with plenty of blankets. There are enough kitchen utensils and pots for cooking. that include sufficiently sharp knives and cutting boards. Johnson, VT is a small town that has everything - a great cafe, a gift store setting local goods, a surprisingly good size supermarket that offer many products at great prices, and even a post office. This property is about 20 mins from Smuggs, 30 mins from the town of Stowe, and 40 mins from Jay Peak. I will stay here again the next time I ski at Jay Peak or Stowe.

The things I liked were very clean. You had streaming on tv of Netflix etc. bedrooms nice. Warm. Things I didn’t like narrow stairs with small treads very dangerous with heavy luggage, front door hard to handle so was lockbox. Mirror to high in bathroom for shorter women. Property around it was old run down not great for bnb. Hard to find on gps took us somewhere else. No email from owner on lockbox code was disappointing had to ask woman downstairs for code. Nice big bathroom. Wish there was tv in bedroom bed to small for 2 people. Room is big enough for king. Mattress in main bedroom is hard and horrible to sleep on

Great location to bike trail
We picked this location as it is close to the Lamoille Bike trail. Perfect!! We brought food for all meals, but there are easy walk places for meals! I will need to ask about central AC. This unit lists AC but it was small window unit in the front room- not enough for the apartment and window unit has no temp control. It was okay for September and there was a window fan in a spare room. The is also a ceiling fan in the bedroom and floor fans. Owners are helpful and responsive and plenty of supplies for meals. Lots of storage for stuff to get it out of the way Couch is really comfy. There is 4 spot parking lot but I think the lot is shared and might fill up.
