"The seamless pick up at the station and the lovely kamakuras in the hotel were great. Meal service was great. Staff onsite were wonderful and the snow views made everything magical. The town was v quiet so buy whatever you need before you arrive. Also make sure to alert the staff 5 days in advance if u have dietary needs, the reservation/meals team would not accommodate last minute dietary restrictions even if you have legit reasons which tbh was the only disappointment in our almost perfect...

"Such a splendid stay! The staff is wonderful and the hotel is serene and historic feeling. They offer transportation to the bus stop but it is very close and there’s a fun brewery about halfway back to the hotel. Would definitely recommend adding the breakfast as every morning was a fresh and creative meal. It made me wish that I added dinner too. Maybe next time? Thank you!"

"Getting there is about an hour drive from Aomori city and hotel has nothing surrounding it but green. Perfect for a getaway but not ideal if wanting to explore Aomori city. The building is old but definitely revamped on the inside, and the option for Japanese style room is available (which the staff make the futon for you). "Great hotel with onsen to relax. The hotel is quite a distance from train station. Thankfully shuttle bus service provided by hotel. "

"This hotel is in a very small town and if very comfortable and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and the onsen was excellent. The room was smaller than I expected and did not have a bathroom or toilet. Also no meals appeared to be available unless they were purchased as part of your room booking."

"We stayed in a Japanese style family room. It was clean and comfortable. Futons were a little thin so we stacked the extras for my husband. The food was delicious and the staff very warm and welcoming. We took the trailhead across from the hotel and enjoyed a run by the lake. Beautiful area. "
