Welcome to Bear Creek Lake Retreat!! We know you'll love our waterfront home as you make memories with family and friends. Sleeps 14 with 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Enjoy your private beach, fishing, swimming, Kayaking, bon fire in the back yard. Enjoy siting in the hot tub with an amazing view of the lake. Cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy the lake view from the living room, or you can challenge friends to a game of pool, air hockey, and ping pong.

You have your own private beach with access to Kayaks and a rowboat.
The lake is great for fishing. Lots of outdoor space to play yard games.
Relax in the second floor living room and enjoy the wildlife , deer, geese, ducks

First floor has a fully stocked kitchen, dinning room, living room, game room/bedroom, master bedroom with private bath room, laundry/half bath, foo's ball, and ping pong

Great Poconos Stay
My friends and I stayed at the King's house for a weekend ski trip to Blue Mountain. The house was beautiful and perfect for accommodating a lot of people.

Enjoyable weekend on the water. Beautiful view and lots of wildlife. We had the whole house to ourselves and there was plenty of space for everyone. Cannot thank the Kings enough. We would recommend this property again!

We found the perfect lodging accommodation for several families coming back to PA at Linda’s place on the lake. It was relaxing and clean and it allowed us to spend family time together, visit and make memories.

Wonderful family getaway
We can't say enough about our stay here. The kids were always occupied, with the boats in the lake, the foosball and ping pong tables, the pool nearby with pickleball and a playground, and Jim Thorpe so close by, we even enjoyed white water rafting. The house was very accommodating, and we saw deer and fawns every evening, and one time a fox.

Family vacation
We stayed here with our whole family which included 4 families. Space was great and backyard with lake access allowed for plenty of space for kids to run around. Home’s boats and kayaks were great and it’s nice that life jackets are available as well. Homeowners were very responsive to questions we had regarding hot tub.

We just wrapped up a long weekend with a tropical storm! Despite the rain and wind we had a wonderful time in this cozy home! So grateful for the game rooms! Host was awesome, immediately responsive. Home was clean, cozy and perfect for gathering.

We had a group of 12 adults for a long weekend at this property. Everything was as advertised. Everything on the property was of a nice quality including the hot tub, beds, firepit, appliances, etc. The dock is on a beautiful spot on the lake. I would definitely book again for a large group.

Peaceful and Relaxing
We stayed at this house for a bachelorette weekend, the bride was overwhelmed with the property and so ecstatic! We had the best weekend and the house was close to Jim Thorpe town which was very convenient! The property owner was very quick to respond to questions and very helpful as we were not familiar with the area! The house was immaculate when we checked in, the process was very easy! The property setting os absolutely beautiful, the water and firepit area, all of it was just amazing! We've already talked about planning our next stay there! Thank you King Family for an amazing place for us to make memories!

Perfect As Always
Linda’s house is becoming an annual trip for myself, my wife, kids, and my in-laws. Can’t ask for a better house in the Poconos - right on the water, beach for the kids to play, hot tub, pool in the community center, a variety of boats to choose from, and a 10 minute ride to downtown Jim Thorpe. Linda is great to communicate with. We’ll be back next year!

Wonderful Place!
We had a wonderful time here celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday and getting together with friends. We hadn’t seen in a long time. The hot tub is awesome with an automatic cover that just slides off so you don’t need muscles lol. The pool table has seen a lot of use, and is not level. If you’re looking for a championship play, it won’t do it. If you’re looking for a lot of fun and laughs, it’s great. There’s also ping-pong in a foosball table. Plenty for the kids to do. It was too chilly to take the kayaks on the lake as we had hoped, and there was a burn ban so we did not get to use the fire pit. But the property is wonderful. I definitely recommend it.

View of lake nearly ruined by no trespassing signs and flags
Overall we had a nice experience staying here. The house was very clean, well maintained, and comfortably slept our party of 7 adults with plenty of room to spare. We enjoyed relaxing in front of the fireplace, kayaking on the lake, soaking in the hot tub, and sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. A few complaints though: - There is a security camera placed at the front door (totally fine), but it’s also oriented with an apparent direct view of the hot tub… which made the female guests uncomfortable. - “Linens included” did not include towels of any sort… not even bathroom hand towels or kitchen towels. These last two items seem like essentials that should be provided with the house. - Our largest complaint about the property is the overbearing “NO TRESPASSING - $200 FINE” signs surrounding the entire back yard. It made sitting in an otherwise beautiful backyard a constant reminder that you were staying somewhere you didn’t belong. Not to mention the plethora of warnings of additional fines within the house rules book. It was really uninviting, and there are less offensive (yet equally effective) ways that the owners could have conveyed the same messages. We enjoyed our stay in spite of these complaints, but will likely seek another house for our next mountain/lake getaway.
