"Our stay at this property was great. We were well cared for and had the perfect mix of fun and relaxation during our say. The staff were very attentive and friendly. A big thank you to Andre and Antonio for getting us settled. We were at the hotel during a local holiday (Annexation of Nicoya) and the restaurant staff went out of their way to tell us all about the holiday and many other cultural details. During our stay we were able to use the kayaks to go around the island during the day and go on the bioluminescence tour at night. Our guides Josue and Oliver were so knowledgeable and even though we had a lot of rain during our bioluminescence tour, Josue and Oliver’s great attitudes and wealth of knowledge made it just another part of the adventure. We stayed for two nights with our two sons (8 and 12) and it was just the right amount of time to enjoy the islands flora and fauna, hotel amenities, and get some relaxation in. The highlights of our trip were the Howler Monkeys right outside our Glamping tent, the amazing staff, and seeing lighting, bioluminescence, jumping fish, and firefly’s all at the same time. All that is to say that we highly recommend this hotel. :) "

"Bahia Rica Was an oasis in Paquera. We stayed for one night and did the bioluminescent tour and Isla Tortuga. The guest house was a rustic sanctuary where you feel one with nature. Lots of monkeys, and beautiful birdwatching. 253 steps down to a secluded beach where we had breakfast and we’re given various choices of cuisine. Isla Tortuga was awesome with Juan as a guide. We saw so many different types of animals, including spider, monkeys, incredible starfish, and sharks. If you have the chance, book a night or several at Bahia Rica."

"This place was amazing! The owner was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the pool was refreshing. Saw monkeys, a coati and a scarlet macaw on property. The bed was very comfortable and the property was beautiful. I can not say enough great things about this place!"
