When you return from your adventures, it's wonderful to find a spot in the cosy natural grounds and soak up the sun. The children have plenty of space to run around in the garden while you put the finishing touches to the barbecue dinner.

Kulhuse has a child-friendly sandy beach surrounded by greenery. There is also a cosy atmosphere at the small harbour. Take a trip to Jægerspris Castle, where there is a museum and a castle park, or go for a hike in Nordskoven, where you can get up close to Denmark's oldest oak trees.
