nice place great location terribly poor communications
While overall the unit was really very good we encountered the following issues. The instructions we received from the manager as to access to the unit were not always accurate. For example the code we were given to enter the building was 0325 when in fact the code was 0523. The instructions relating to the hot water were completely inaccurate and this was pointed out to us by Adi who was EXCELLENT in clearing up the issues that we had. So for the first day and a half we had no hot water and the heat was also not working. When contacting the numbers given to us in isrentals instructions one person completely denied having anything to do the apartment. On Friday after not having hot water or heat I called 3 times to the call center each agent promised a call back in a short time none of which were ever received. We arrived back on early friday afternoon to find that the hot water was working. We received NO communication that anyone had addressed the problem. Additionally were it not for the fact that Adi lost her keys and had to come back to see if she had left them in our apartment we would not have had any heat as she had to climb on the counter top to reset the sensor. She also told us then that the instructions for the hot water we were given and which were indicated with a sign on the wall were incorrect and she showed us how to turn it on. The television was not working until sometime on Monday. Initially I mentioned that the smoke detector had be disconnected and placed in a drawer in the kitchen. That issue was never addressed and never rectified. In short while we paid full price for each day the first two to three days we did not have some of the basic amenities one would expect in a rental such as this.
