The property is located in Pitve village on Hvar Island, the oldest village on Hvar island.
The first thing that visitor’s will notice as they make their way to the holiday home is the authenticity of the building and surrounding houses. Beautiful massive stones make up the entire facade of this building in the same fashion as was done in the 15th and 16th centuries. The huge garden offers guests a magical outdoor holiday experience created for outdoor living and pure enjoyment.
The house is separated into 2 separate sections that are not connected indoors. As you walk into the bottom house through a massive oak doorway, your attention is immediately drawn to the opposing wall where through the glass we get a glimpse of a small Mediterranean garden.
Taking two steps down you enter the main living room with kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances making cooking easy and quick with induction cookers and multi-use microwave/convection oven.
In the middle of the room is a large granite dining table and just past this is a small living room area with SAT TV and a large fireplace. There are two separate bedrooms each with their own modern bathrooms. One bedroom includes a queen-sized bed (160x200) while the other room has a custom-made bunk bed system (120x200 & 90x200).
There are stairs on the side of the house leading to another terrace that guests can use. From the terrace you can enter the largest bedroom in the house. The bedroom is about 25m2 and has an in-suite bathroom.
However, the secrets lie just behind the stone walls. Outside of the home, guests can enjoy a sprawling garden covering 300m2. Outdoors, guests have access to the swimming pools, outdoor kitchen, lounge and dining area. There is also an outdoor shower and separate bathroom for the guests to use. The view from the terrace looks down at the sleepy village of Jelsa only 2 kilometers away and the sea with surrounding islands.
We would highly recommend have a car.
