Ocean views can be seen from inside the home. The second story Sundeck offers additional Ocean views. The Outside Pool, located in the center of the Uniquely U-shaped home is fully screened, including a large patio and an outside shower that can be accessed from most rooms. The home is located a short distance from beach access on one of the best lots on the Ocean side of Jekyll Island. Beginning with the garden/patio at the Front Entry, all who come here experience true Island Living. Many extras include domestic long distance phone, pool changing area, cathedral ceilings in LR and MBR, 2 MBRs, fireplace. Excellent Rental Record. Turnkey. The house was probably the nicest one we have rented (and we have stayed in many places on Jekyll). The owners had tons of kitchen ware to use, area rugs in kitchen and baths, clothes hangers, tons of those. Wish all the owners provided as much as the Happy Days owners.

This is more of a dorm like setting with a small kitchen and eating area, but the U shaped home with a center screened in pool area makes the property seem much larger than it is. It is great for a family who loves privacy and a pool.

Only issue was master bedroom blind broke and it took almost 2 weeks to get the realty company in to replace it.

The pool was clean and used every day! House is clean, super comfortable, and close to the ocean. Also enjoyed the daily run to Horton Pond from the home. VayK delivered 4 bikes for our use during the week and that was a super nice additional bonus of Jekyll Realty with the $350 credit. Thank you for a wonderful home for us to enjoy our family vacation! We plan to come every year to this home for hopefully many years.

I didn’t get to go but some of my family went and here are their reviews. Diedra Sims - My review: loved the house. Only thing that was a negative: need a different blind in the bathroom near the laundry. Too open on the sides, bottom and it faces the main street. Amber Daniels - House was great. Plenty of room and very clean. Everything worked great. Grill could use cleaning but worked fine with aluminum foil.

There is limited access to the beach at this location (because of high tide, so you will have to go further down if you want to stay on beach during the day. The only problem we had was garbage pick-up. The cans were full when we arrived and didn't get picked up again until Thursday. We picked up garbage every morning from animals getting into it.

We have stayed in a number of other cottages over the years and this is our favourite - the layout of the cottage around 3 sides of the pool works exceptionally well, all the rooms are attractively decorated and well furnished, the kitchen works well and the location (being only a few seconds walk from the beach access) is perfect.

We have stayed at various rental properties throughout the past 10 years, and this one was one to remember. The name is perfect for our experience there. Being close to beach access at low tide is absolutely wonderful, and when it was high tide, we could sit in lawn chairs near the deck and just enjoy the sunrise or cool evening breezes.

Had a gas grill with a tank that was very much appreciated. The trick with the location is beach access. Need to get out on beach 4 hours before high tide if you want access for a decent amount of time. Otherwise you will be driving to the public access points. Nothing the home owner can do about that one.

An Inviting Getaway
This is a clean, inviting property. We brought the kids down for spring break, and it was great! We got to use the pool a little, and it's an easy ride to the beach or campground to rent bikes. The folks at Jeckyll Realty couldn't have been kinder or more responsive.

Jolly Jeckyll Island
It was great vacation trip. Cottage location is super great. Quiet neighborhood but very-close to beach. Property is older as clear from pictures but comfortable for family. Cottage is clean too except living room couch has some stains.Kitchen was fully ready and loaded for cooking needs. Bathrooms were also in good shape . We were not able to use pool because it was too cold( please do mention in ad it’s non heated) and kids were not so happy to hear that but there was plenty to do on Island and they forgot about it. Jeckyll Realty staff was very friendly and easily accessible! Highly recommend

Family Vacay!

The pool was such a great place to relax and play after touring the island by bike earlier in the day. One day during the week there were three Pileated Woodpeckers on the same tree in the yard that could be seen from the wooden deck and also from the area by the pool. Even with coronavirus restrictions, could still enjoy activities on the island and neighboring town. Loved our time at Jekyll as usual
