Garden Cottage 83 Ocean Bliss

Professionally decorated, Ocean Bliss is set up to provide comfort and relaxation for you and your family. To ensure a relaxing getaway vacation, the cottage offers spacious, well-appointed bedrooms. The master on the main offers a king-size bed, its own ensuite bathroom, and direct access to the screened-in porch with views of the ocean. Upstairs you have 2 additional bedrooms with queen size beds and their own private bathrooms and a beautiful upper deck.
The kitchen is fully equipped with both a standard and a Keurig coffee maker and much more! Located on the first floor is also a laundry closet, with a full-size stacked washer and dryer, and a half bathroom.
The lovely outdoor space has a WEBER gas grill, 4 Adirondack chairs with a fire pit to enjoy your evenings. The upper deck is furnished for your comfort with a lovely ocean view that lets you sip your coffee in the mornings or a glass of wine in the evenings and let all your worries drift away
For outdoor enthusiasts, there are 4 adult bikes, and 2 children's bikes to ride on bike paths around Jekyll Island. Fishing equipment is also furnished for your enjoyment. Beach chairs, wagons, boogie boards, and beach towels available for your use, make packing easier for you. Board games and books make this home ideal for all members of the family to enjoy. Guests also have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island million dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access and a community fire pit.

DUE TO STORMS THAT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BEACH CROSSOVER TO THE OCEAN, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE BEACH ACCESS
The Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn. You may view all Jekyll Beaches by visiting the Jekyll Island website under the Beaches tab.

Property was nice, everything was as listed. Close to driftwood beach and bike paths. The tide was high the whole trip and couldn’t use the beach in front of the property. Plenty of bikes to use but the fishing gear was less than stellar. One one pole had a reel with line.

The home was exactly as expected. Great location, clean and spacious. The only thing I would suggest is more towels as this is a large house. Everything else about the stay was great.

Excellent cottage on Jekyll Island
We enjoyed this cottage very much. it was very comfortable with having enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. It was well equipped so that we could enjoy having breakfast or dinners at home. The location was great for heading out for a day on the island or for going out for day trips. The staff were wonderful in helping us with a problem. We would love to rent this cottage again if we return to the island.

Had a great time at this property. Would highly recommend. There is not a second queen as described in listing (it is a full and for two adults toooo small and we did not find any beach towels as listed but it did not take away from a great experience!

What a Stay!
Can’t even begin with celebrate how easy it was to check in after a long drive. The home was absolutely beautiful! The coastal design, high ceilings and tall doors was a dream. If I had to complain it’d be the hot water heater it was inconsistent in the primary bathroom. Hot, then cold then hot. Management shared that would look into it. The summer breeze made it the least of our concerns. Decks on both levels, accessible beach supplies made us not want to leave! Jekyll Island and this cottage truly felt like home!

Everything we wanted
We enjoyed this comfortable cottage in December. It was so nice that there were bicycles and fishing rods available for our use. Bedrooms, baths and living spaces are large, and beds were comfy. Porches are big, too. It's a nice bike ride to the historic area and several restaurants. Many paths to the beach are accessible, and we could see a tiny view from the porch, and listen to the waves.

Perfect Location
We enjoyed our stay and loved the location of this property. It was within walking distance to the pool and to the beach. The property is beautiful, and we had plenty of room for the four of us! The only thing missing was a pizza pan & cutter. :) When you have teenagers, this is a must. Other than that, I have no complaints! We will be back soon!

Ocean Bliss!!!!
The property was wonderful. Kitchen well stocked with cooking items. Upstairs bed was a little too soft but overall I would rent again. The porch and outside area was a plus! Close to pool and beach access. We were surprised of the boulder wall along the beach which blocks the ocean. Totally understand why it was built. It was fine for us as we were there in the winter and weren't getting in the ocean.

Loved it!
It's not too often that the pictures resemble the house but in this instance, we walked directly into the pictures! The area was very quiet and peaceful! My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here on the island. We've visited for the past 3 years but this was our first year at The Cottages and absolutely the best place to stay. The only thing that wasn't a great experience was having to use a trash compactor and the extensive rule book but I suppose this is what makes the property stay in great shape. I would definitely recommend this for anyone coming to the island for a visit!

This space is exactly as advertised! Had a wonderful time on Jekyll, would definitely book again! Only comment would be the beds are very firm and not very comfortable. Also we couldn’t find a broom to sweep with. There was a vacuum, but it didn’t do as good of a job as just a plain old broom would have, it let a lot of sand and crumbs escape.

Perfect Fall Break getaway!
We have three young children (4, 5, 7) and loved everything about this home and Jekyll Island! House was very well equipped - bikes for 5-7 year olds, several adult bikes, plenty of great beach toys, chairs, a hose outside to rinse off, easy walk to beach or pool. And we loved the bike rides around the of island! We could walk to beach at times but other times tide was too high and you couldn’t walk out past the stairs. But 3 minute drive to the public beach was not a big deal and my kids told us they "Loved the 3 minute beach!" We will 100% be coming back!

Beautiful home. Quiet location. Excellent views. Excellent community. Just can't say enough good things about this trip. The beauty of and the amenities of this home just pushed the entire trip over the top. It was our first visit to Jekyll Island but you can expect to see us return and we certainly hope we can get this exact some house. Such a beautiful place. My one and ONLY concern is parking at the home. We have a Nissan Armada (which is a relatively large SUV) and I would not want to attempt to park anything longer at this home. Anything longer would be left hanging out into the roadway. Again, this is very minute and did not take away from our trip at all. I only mention to caution any future visitors if they have large vehicles.
