Perfectly peaceful
This is everything you could want from a farm stay. Friendly, healthy animals and a property that has obviously been thoughtfully cultivated over the years. Our kids LOVED it. Lisa is a great host and the house has everything you could think of. Quiet and peaceful yet convenient to West Jefferson, and the New River and many other parks. We will definitely be back!!.

This place is lovely!
I love this farm and small town. Great getaway place. There are a lot of antique shops close by and scenic routes to choose from. There is ample space for the family and puppy. I would visit and stay again.

Beautiful farm
Lisa went above and beyond to make our stay special. From feeding the farm animals to taking hikes with beautiful views to using the pizza oven by the fire, we had so many memorable moments. We used all 3 properties on the farm with the treehouse being the favorite for our girls.

Cozy, peaceful farmhouse with breathtaking property views
Beautiful property with animals, hiking, and breathtaking views. We enjoyed the cozy farmhouse for the weekend and were so impressed by the property. Our adult kids even enjoyed the animals and the acres of hiking trails to beautiful summits and sweeping outlooks kept us all busy exploring. I can’t say enough about the hospitality of the farm. All the little special touches made for a wonderful family getaway!

Beautiful Place For Relaxation
This was such an adorable place with the sound of nature and a babbling brook to put your mind at ease. We enjoyed our stay and were very appreciative of how clean, comfortable, and peaceful this gem was to us! I love flowers and herbs so I was smiling from the moment we arrived at the gorgeous landscaping! We had everything we could possibly need right there. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful spot with us!

Beautiful & Relaxing Cabin Getaway
My family and I stayed four nights, and it was exactly what we needed to disconnect from the stress of our day-to-day. Very beautiful property and we felt right at home. Lisa was attentive and would stop by to make sure we were taken care of. Would definitely stay at little peak creek farm again, it was a wonderful experience and exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for having us, Lisa!

Quiet Family Weekend
This was our second visit to Lisa and Steven’s wonderful mountain farm. Our girls (2, 4 and 8) had the best time hiking to the lookout, seeing and feeding the chickens and goats and playing with the new outdoor games. West Jefferson is nearby for dinner, live music, donuts and farmers market. A relaxing and fun stay for the whole family. Thanks Lisa for an awesome visit. We’ll be back!

Wonderful stay and wedding venue
A fantastic place for a wedding, as well as great lodging. My husband and I, as well as another couple, stayed 3 nights at the farm house, for our son’s wedding, which was held at the barn. The accommodations were perfect, and the barn and gallery were a gorgeous location for the wedding. Lisa, and her husband, Stephen, were great hosts, and worked extremely hard to make everything amazing. Everyone attending seemed to be impressed with the property. It truly was an excellent place for a wedding, or a vacation getaway.

Just perfect
We stayed in the Farm House in June and even though we knew it was just what we were looking for, arriving there right at twilight with the twinkling garden lights outside, soft lamp lighting and calming music was so peaceful. Hearing the creek running beside the house and all the wildlife, really helped us relax and enjoy. Lisa and Mark were great to deal with and made our trip super special with the little touches. We will definitely be back!

Perfect family time!
My family of 4 (2 adults, 5 yr old boy, & baby boy), along with my mother in law, grandmother in law, and husband's cousin stayed three nights while in the area for a family wedding and thoroughly enjoyed the property. Inside was comfortable and cozy; It really felt like being welcomed into someone's rather than a standard rental. The outside areas created the perfect evening ambiance - we were lucky to have a warm fall weekend and enjoyed listening to the wildlife, stargazing and roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. We also enjoyed walking around the property and visiting the animals. Overall, it was a great time spent with family we don't see often!

Idyllic Thanksgiving Getaway
This was our second Thanksgiving stay on the property and this time we tried the cabin. We loved the space so much. The personal touches, art, and little details make it feel like home. We have family in the area and it’s been very convenient for us to be able to come here before and after our gathering and not have to travel home right away. Our family pups had an absolute blast tagging along, checking out the horses and Gypsy Chicks, playing with the Willingham’s pups, swimming in the little creeks nearby, and going for hikes around the property. Lisa did so much to make our stay a great one and we can’t wait to return in the future.

Lovely cabin on a peaceful farm!
This cabin was awesome! From the sounds of the small creek right in your backyard, to being able to interact and feed the animals each morning and evening, to getting fresh eggs each afternoon to cook for breakfast each morning, it was truly a delightful experience. I could ramble on for days about how great this place is, but the fact that we booked for two nights, but ended up staying 3 probably says it all! So thankful no one had already booked that ex night. It was definitely a win for us. Go ahead and book, you definitely won't regret it!

Wonderful, relaxing paradise
We had a fabulous time on our family vacation at the farm. All of us loved hanging out with the animals. We enjoyed our regular evening visits from Molly & Hank. The kids especially loved feeding and petting the chickens, goats, horses and dogs. A chick hatched one day and my granddaughter was over the moon about it! The cottage was very charming and cozy. I really can’t tell you how much fun we all had - I could go on and on! We will definitely be back. Thanks Lisa and Steve!

Beautiful property, magical stay.
This is a one-of-a-kind authentic farm experience. The property is breathtaking, filled with beautiful and friendly animals, barns, meadows, and trails that lead through pine forests and up to overlooks with mountain views for miles. The owners are friendly and take great care and pride in their property and their animals, and it shows in every nook and cranny. Such a great opportunity for our family to connect with each other and with nature in a way that’s not easy to find these days. My kids and all of us loved visiting the chickens, hunting for fresh eggs, feeding the horses, goats, and donkeys, and playing with the three beautiful Labradors that came to visit us at the farmhouse every day. I couldn’t recommend it more.

we kept pinching ourselves... is this place for reals? It's AMAZING.
This is our second visit to Little Peak Creek Farm and we are even more in love with the place, which I didn't think was possible. Our young kiddos were giddy with joy.... collecting eggs, feeding the horses, playing in the sandbox, climbing up the mountain creek, riding bikes, looking for frogs at the fish ponds, playing bocce ball, having a picnic at the overlook. Despite the numerous local attractions, we hardly left the farm. There's so much to do there and it's just so beautiful. The cabin has everything you need and it's clean and comfortable. Lisa and Steven go out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. They are just lovely people and they have poured their hearts and souls into this place. Our kids were so sad to leave and begging for us to make plans to return. We certainly will. It's just as wonderful for the adults as the kids.

Farm in the mountains
Steve and Lisa were great hosts and have done a wonderful job carving out this farm oasis in the mountains. We barely left their sprawling property during our stay because it was such a lovely spot. We stayed in the little cabin and spent our days in the hammock by the bubbling stream or on the back deck playing bocce or at the fire pit (just be aware that those over 6 feet have to duck in the house at a few spots - it was an old hunting cabin and a little quirky 😁). The whole farm was expertly decorated and tended, with flowers, gardens and vistas everywhere - we highly recommend the hike to the overlook for sunset, although the view from the top of the pasture in the evening was just as beautiful and peaceful. And we can't forget the animals - it was hard to get my daughter to leave the chicken coop or the horses, goats, donkeys and tiny horse at the barn. Feeding them each day was definitely a highlight for us! West Jefferson was a 20 minute drive away and there were plenty of other parks and tubing on the river nearby, or you could stroll across the street for a fun little mining experience at Gem Valley. It was a great spot and we look forward to returning soon!

Down on the Farm
We loved our stay at Little Peak Creek Farm in the historic cabin. The owners did a wonderful job fixing the cabin up. It was charming and the beds/linens were comfy and plentiful. We had a very short stay because it was a last minute trip but if we had the chance, we would have stayed longer. Our kids enjoyed interacting with the farm animals especially the three yellow labs on the property. For those of you who prefer not to have on-property hosts, fear not, the cabin and the tree house cabin are both set up for optimal privacy and the owners will interact as much or as little as you prefer. We'd like to try and come back some day to stay in the tree house. There was internet and a Roku provided so you could access netflix, etc. as well as a satellite dish. The cabin is generously stocked. The king size bed was a nice touch. It felt like a place that would be cozy and romantic for couples especially in the winter or fall. We had rain so we weren't able to take advantage but there is a fire pit and bocce/cornhole court. We had fun playing cards on the back porch and listening to the rain. The owners have thought of everything. If you're looking to get away from it all and step back in time a little or experience farm life like a local, this is the place to do it.
