With high foliage surrounding the villa, Casa Tonica boasts supreme privacy and a wonderful sense of well-being. Swaying palm trees dot around the grounds, lemon trees are conveniently placed for the all-important Gin and Tonic, a summer kitchen with brick built BBQ and delightful natural pergola provides a shady dining area whilst still enjoying views over the pool – all this can be yours if you book a week or two at Casa Tonica! Plus there are plenty of chilling out (or warming out!) areas around the villa, including two raised terraces – one with views of the iconic Montgo mountain, the other providing delightful views of the pool and garden. There are further patios around the villa providing sun all day and all evening long. The lovely pool area and main terrace are all south-facing, which helps you really make the most of the sun this area is blessed with. So let’s get onto the pool ... a larger than average 9 x 4 pool which will be a sure hit for all the family. Why not try a game of pool volleyball, or relax in an inflatable, soaking up the sun? The villa really provides fun-filled outside living!
Inside the villa will not disappoint either. The kitchen provides ample storage for all your provisions and has hi-gloss white storage cupboards, very well-equipped kitchen, pantry for further storage, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. Plentiful crockery, dining sets and lots of useful kitchen utensils to make dining at the villa a very pleasurable experience and is something many guests have commented favourably on.
The lounge/diner/naya provides a truly spacious and welcoming space to relax out of the sun – whilst remaining beautifully light and airy with the light streaming in from the numerous windows. Cool tiles help keep the temperature down naturally but air conditioning is a welcome relief in the summer months!
The ‘Inside Naya’ benefits from wall to wall windows throughout, plus patio doors at either end – both leading to raised terraces. Ideal for morning breakfast! One of the terraces looks out over the garden and pool, and the other one has views of the iconic Montgo mountain.
There are three bedrooms in the property – the master has a kingsize bed and also benefits from a stylish shower room with WC and wash hand basin, plus vanity area. The second bedroom is a twin room with single beds that can be pushed together if needed. The third bedroom also has a kingsize bed. All three bedrooms have spacious integral wardrobes and air conditioning. The property can accommodate 6 people.
Out and About: A 2-3 minute car journey brings you to the famous Arenal, with a large array of stunning restaurants - you will be spoiled for choice! There is also a gorgeous, well-priced restaurant within a 5-minute walk from the villa and within 10-15 minutes walk there are a variety of other restaurants! You can also easily walk to the Arenal from the villa - it takes around 25 - 30 minutes and it's all slightly downhill, so it's easy, even in the sun - or why not head down there via Cala Blanca beach, stopping off at the beachbar on the way? A taxi back from the Arenal will be around 10 euros.
The Port of Javea is only a short distance from the Arenal too - and well worth a visit, where you will find a number of exquisite restaurants with sea views. The Old Town of Javea (or Xabia as it is also known) is also totally charming and beautiful with a number of typically Spanish restaurants and beautiful cobbled streets.
Or why not simply walk down to the beach with a picnic and a bottle of wine? You can walk to the sea in under 15 minutes from the villa and there are some very peaceful, secluded spots with benches - ideal for whiling away a summer evening!

About Javea
Javea is often regarded as the jewel of the Costa Blanca. Situated around an hours drive from both Alicante and Valencia, the area is easily accessible by car whilst still remaining full of Spanish appeal. Javea is split into three distinct (and equally charming) areas: The old town and historical quarter – full of tiny, quaint, cobbled streets and Spanish tapas bars and restaurants, as well as large shopping areas and shops for anything you might need. Then there is the Port – which really is a fantastically affordable treat. Sitting out at one of the many cafes, restaurants and beach bars overlooking the marina and the sea, is one of the many memorable ways to spend your holiday. Then of course there is the famous Arenal beach which is popular for sunbathing, swimming and watersports, with a simply stunning backdrop of the Montgo mountain and an enticing and bountiful array of quality restaurants, cafes and bars all within a short distance.
Further Afield …
By the time you’ve explored all that Javea has to offer, have spent many a relaxing day around Casa Tonica and chilling out around the pool, have wandered along the coastline from the Cala Blanca beach, exploring the coves and making your way up the rocky walking trails with stunning far-reaching views, there surely won’t be much time left to explore the wider area. However, if you do find yourselves with a little more time than anticipated, then the a day trip to the little fishing village of Moraira is a fantastic option, or perhaps wander into the larger Denia – from there you can even catch a boat to the island of Ibiza! Or if you are after something a little more rowdy and action-packed, then Benidorm is a mere 40 minute drive away.
