Relaxing weekend in Big Canoe
My wife and I give this cabin five stars. First, it had upgraded furniture and comfy beds. We found the cottage spotlessly clean and a short drive from the main gate, as promised. We will stay here on our next visit to Big Canoe.

Beautiful and peaceful visit
This was a perfect get away for me and my wife. Exactly what we were looking for to unwind and just relax. Calm, peaceful days with beautiful nature all around and the quiet of being in a secluded but easily accessible cabin. Plenty of trails for hiking and going outdoors are right inside Big Canoe. Waterfalls and creeks flowing throughout. We would definitely come back and recommend this exact cabin. Plenty of room for up to six people as it has three bedrooms and bathrooms for each. Loved it!

Memorable Family Weekend
Our family girls trip was great, and this home was perfect for us. The bedrooms are roomy, and it was nice that each room had its own bath. Common spaces were nice, and the kitchen is well stocked. We cooked in two nights, and used the oven and stovetop. Everything was very clean!! We hope to make this an annual trip and would stay here again!

Really cute little house in big canoe. Comfortable and fit 4 adults and kiddo w no problem. Wish we had gotten all the big canoe info as soon as I booked - black bear lodge and most of the boats were booked. We loved the pool/beach and kayaking.

House was clean and accessible. Master bed was very comfortable. Very quiet spot. Had some problems with living room tv, channels kept freezing, microwave counter light was burnt out and main floor bathroom smells moldy.

Wonderful stay!
My friend and I had a wonderful stay this past weekend. Eryn's communication was fantastic, the home is spotless with thoughtful amenities and the coziness meter is off the charts! The lovely screened in porch provides additional room for sitting and eating if you'd like, but the interior has everything you would need. Quiet cul-de-sac and easy access (via a short drive) to some local trail heads. We loved our stay. My only regret is that the weather was not warm enough for us to enjoy the beautiful and large porches/views!

This cabin exceeded all of our expections. There were 3 couples & with the floor plan, it worked out GREAT. Cabin was clean & stocked with every thing (& more) than we needed. Eryn was fantastic to work with for questions. Map that was given at check in gate, was confusing. Recommend using updated GPS.

Weekend Trip
The cabin is as described and very clean. We had a girl’s weekend get-away and we all had our own space and there was also space to be together. We enjoyed the screened porch and did see deer at a nearby house, we also saw a wonderful large owl-that was a treat. It is a beautiful area, a little more remote than we realized and very peaceful. The drive to the cabin is very windy and some of the roads are straight up or straight down, be prepared to drive slowly.

Cozy Christmas Family stay
The house/cabin on the property was very nice and spacious for our needs. We were a little disappointed that there was no hot tub, but that did not prevent us from a good time. We brought food to prepare, but the kitchen does not have pantry space. There is a storage closet in the basement that we utilized. Overall, the cabin was well-equipped for cooking and entertaining, and we enjoyed the fireplace and good times with family.

A hidden gem
62 Shaggy Maple was a fabulous place to stay in Big Canoe. Even though the property is only @1800 square feet, it felt spacious and oh so comfortable. My grandchildren had their own floor and so did we as the house was on 3 levels. The views from the decks and screened porch were gorgeous. I also appreciate the supplies (toilet paper, plastic bags, etc) which were left for us to use. The property manager was wonderful and very efficient We honestly hated to leave. I highly recommend renting this property❤️

Clean house to relax in!
We had a great stay in Big Canoe (family of 6) and really liked the house. We had some issues getting in when we arrived but were able to navigate that semi-quickly. The rooms are large and beds are comfortable. The kitchen is small but has most everything you'll need to make your own meals and save on restaurant costs. The views were great and listening to the creek and falls while you drink coffee in the morning. Location was decent as long as you enjoy driving on mountain-side roads with no shoulder :) If you don't have 4-wheel drive it may be hard to get in and out of the driveway. It's really steep but has an area to turn around if needed. Overall we loved our time there and caught plenty of trout and hiked many of the trails! Highly recommend the house and Big Canoe!

Wonderful weekend in Big Canoe
We spent a fantastic weekend in Big Canoe with our grandkids. Our cabin was so perfect. Even though it was only 1800 square feet, the layout was wonderful. Three levels, each with a small sitting room, deck, or porch, gave everyone the privacy they needed, and also allowed us to spend time together. I appreciate the toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, and other basic supplies that were in our cabin. So often I rent a place only to find absolutely nothing in there. Clean, well designed, with beautiful views, this place is a jewel. Eryn was a great communicator and she made our check in process so so easy Thanks for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend the Evolve team!

Gorgeous cabin
Our cabin was amazing! Everything you needed was there. We had a 1 year old with us and they had it all. Plenty of room for everyone. I highly recommend this cabin. The owner even reached out to me and answered all my questions and was so sweet. We will definitely be going back.
