"Great place to have an event or just stay for the weekend and explore the beautiful and quaint town of Marshall. Food is fantastic and the decor is beautiful. Rooms are very clean with no carpeting. I can’t wait to go and try the pool when it opens. The front desk looked up my rewards number and always had coffee available even very early in the morning. Breakfast is warm and they have healthy options also. This is our second stay. Can’t wait to go again. "

"We rented this out for the Valentine’s weekend and it was perfect for my husband and I! Very cozy one-room cabin had everything we needed for the weekend. We spent most of our time on the HUGE screened in porch listening to the rain! The futon was a great touch, as it was so comfortable, we took an afternoon nap on the porch during the thunderstorm! There are many houses in the neighborhood that we weren’t expecting by the pics. But the neighborhood was exceptionally quiet! I don’t even think we heard a dog bark. I do regret we did not get to use the kayaks because of the weather. Definitely will be booking again and making use of the kayaks next time! "

"The staff was super helpful and check in was sent via email and so here at the hotel it was set as ready. The property seemed safe and smelt clean. The fixtures in the restroom definitely could use an upgrade as they are literally falling off. Also providing in the closet some additional blankets would be helpful. "
