"This was our first visit to this area of Arkansas and we didn't know what to expect. It was a last-minute decision to spend the New Year in Jasper and we are glad we did! We came for the hiking, and this location put us within 30 minutes of dozens of trails. Beautiful property, and the location of this cabin was ideal; quiet, scenic and comfortable. Pattie was a gracious host and pointed us to a couple of fantastic hikes that I'm thankful we didn't miss. We didn't need much while we were there, but she made sure that we were well-attended-to all the same. We can not wait to return! The cabin was comfortable, well-stocked, and best of all, flexible for a stay that fluctuated from 3 to 9 guests over the course of our week. "

"The design of this modern cabin maximizes the spectacular Arkansas Grand Canyon views from all 3 bedrooms and the two-story windows of the living area. The hot tub and fire pit are situated to take advantage of the views as well. The beds are extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets and extras if needed. The home comes equipped with EVERY necessity and even extra touches like the welcome kit with water and snacks and suggested excursions around the area. Go see the elk in Box Valley, hike the local trails (we rode ATV's at the fabulous Wildnerness Rider), eat at the historic Ozark Cafe and have a coffee at Peggy Sues (both so delicious). Then soak in the hot tub and watch the blue sky fade to orange, pink and purple. And OMG, the stars at night! If you're a dark sky enthusiast, you will love it. We picked out so many constellations and saw shooting stars. There's plenty of wood for a fire where we told scary stories, roasted marshmallows and had a member of our group play the guitar and sing. We had a Skee-Ball tournament in the upstairs Gameroom and played cornhole outside too. Scenic 7 is all so well done, just superb. We came for a long weekend but will be back for a longer stay! "
