"We truly loved our home away from home in Rennes. Tucked behind the Cathedral this location had it all—half-timbered, old city charm, restaurants, shopping and a nearby metro for a quick trip to the train station. The house is well equipped and our stay was very comfortable. (Note:for those with mobility issues, this is not the place for you due to Cobblestones streets and internal stairs leading up to the first and second floors.)"

"This rental stated it had a washer & dryer as amenities, but this was false. We asked where they were located, the host gave us directions to the nearest laundromat. She was out of town for all our stay but the last day, & that's OK. She said we could use her washer once she returned for a cost of 5 euros. Check in did not go smoothly as we did not have the gate & keybox codes when we arrived. Communication with the host was sporadic as she could only convo thru vrbo & did not want to text or...

"Clean clean, bright and sunny, 3 stories for when privacy is needed, great availability of common space. Kitchen well stocked with dishes and cookware, modern appliances. Supermarket w/in 5 minutes, boulangerie within 10. A few eateries in the vicinity (and more coming). Despite being near the RR tracks, quiet quiet (slept with the windows open during the heat wave). Also, (we were 5 women one male) no fears expressed about safety. Walking into the "happening" areas (and train station)...

"Check in was very brief with little information provided. Was told to text if any problems. Texted twice with request for difficulty with opening door with no response. On last day of visit we could not open the door. The woman who greeted us at the apartment on our first day provided no help. After waiting multiple hours hoping someone would come to our assistance we left by crawling out the kitchen window. We would never stay here again with such bad customer service"

"Good location near a bus stop and shops. The kitchen had a dishwasher, a filter coffee machine and a kettle. There were insufficient supplies like dishwasher tablets, and toilet paper in the room for more than a day or two and the rooms were only cleaned once a week unless you paid a fee. Some of the furniture is showing signs of wear."
