"We were going to and from the Juniata Field Station during the weekend and this property was a great location for us. While there is no lake view, it is nice and close to the lake. There were four of us and we hosted two more for dinner one night. We had plenty of space, everything worked well, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. The view of the cows across the road provided a nice vibe to our glass of wine before dinner. Just be sure you bring what you need. Other than a Dollar General which is VERY close, anything beyond that is pretty far.We come to sugar most years at the field station. We will be back :)"

"This was a great house for a large group. Very secluded, quiet, and peaceful with beautiful scenery. Only potential downside to mention is that if it is snowy or icy, it can be very difficult to get up and down from the house. But the owner was very responsive in trying to help us out. "Tucked away up the side of a mountain overlooking foggy morning treelines. The hot tub was our favorite part, and the kitchen was lovely. It would be an awesome stay in late spring or early summer when we might have spent more time making use of the massive and beautiful deck."
