The space
Welcome to our home, we are located just one minute from the longest and most beautiful beach in Zanzibar, here you will discover an open architectural paradise, mixing tropical and oriental influences in a minimalist style. From the moment you walk through the doors of our villa, you will be greeted by an oasis of relaxation. Imagine yourself swinging in a hammock overlooking two majestic palm trees, listening to the songs of birds.
The villa consists of 2 identical lofts with each one having a sleeping space, a private bathroom, a private kitchen, a hammock, and each with a private entrance.
1 air-conditioned loft on the ground floor with direct access to the swimming pool and an outside kit he and dining area near the main entrance.
On the top floor we have another loft that will be available from the 12 of december thet has a unique tropical feel, a view on the majestous palm trees and the village life, naturally ventilated with a private access to the pool, an ensuite bathroom and a full kitchen for your private use.
You have exclusif use of the swimming pool during your stay, with massage jets and lounging sunbed where time tend to stop.

To build our villa, we made a conscious decision to use local labor and materials. This approach not only supported the local community but also allowed us to showcase the skills and traditions of the region.
In terms of materials, we sourced them locally as well. This not only reduced the carbon footprint associated with transportation but also supported local businesses and artisans. We used locally available stones, woods, and other materials that were known for their durability and suitability for the climate.
Our villa incorporates ecological principles and organic materials that offers our guests a sustainable and environmentally friendly accommodation option. It feature furnishings and textiles made from organic cotton avoiding harmful chemicals and promotes sustainable practices. The use of organic paint on the villa's interior surfaces provides a non-toxic and eco-friendly environment, contributing to better indoor air quality for guests. Natural plaster is used for wall finishes in the bathrooms, offering a breathable and environmentally conscious alternative to synthetic materials. We have a water collection system in place to harvest rainwater, promoting water conservation and reducing reliance on traditional water sources. These ecological features, guests can enjoy a sustainable and eco-friendly stay during their visit.
In addition to the construction aspect, we also wanted to offer our guests a unique culinary experience. To achieve this, we partnered with local mamas who are known for their expertise in making traditional dishes. They prepare fresh chapatis, orojo soup, and hibiscus ginger teas, among other local delicacies. By collaborating with these women, we not only support their livelihoods but also empower them to showcase their culinary skills and traditions.
Furthermore, we extend our support to local artisans who make handmade seaweed and aloe vera soaps and cosmetics. These products are not only environmentally friendly but also provide an opportunity for guests to take home a piece of the local culture and craftsmanship.
