I had a fantastic stay at The Orient Jakarta, a Royal Hideaway Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The room was clean, beautifully designed, and offered a stunning view of the city. It was a perfect space to unwind after a day of exploring Jakarta. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast—absolutely delicious and well worth trying! The hotel also boasts excellent amenities. The gym is well-equipped for a good workout, and the pool area is a relaxing retreat with great ambiance. Overall, I highly recommend staying here. It’s a wonderful blend of comfort, style, and top-notch service. I’d definitely return!

Second time staying here, with great service and impeccably clean rooms. Bohemian jungle vibes but not overbearing, and it is a comfortable stay overall. Really nice rooftop bar definitely helps.

Loved our time here, staff were super efficient and friendly, food was pretty good, breakfast was good, the room was cool, very comfortable bed, big thick towels and the shower was awesome, good water pressure and hot water, no issues with water pressure like some hotels. The cafes and restaurants in the hotel were good, nice areas to chill if you have to kill some time. Rooftop cafe and pool was really good too, hot pool was very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

Short stay in Jakarta
this is a reasonably new hotel with only three floors dedicated to hotel guests and the majority of the floors are residents but with a separate lobby and lifts. The hotel's decor was very interesting. The rooftop bar and pool were excellent. However, drinks were expensive and average. Our room was fairly spacious, but the interior layout was not the best. Although the king bed was very comfortable, it faced the shower and vanity, which was very odd. The staff were very friendly and always attentive. Breakfast was good. Allowed you to order items from A La Carte menu with no extra charge plus buffet items. Hotel is in the central business district of Jakarta. A taxi ride from airport only took 35 mins in the mid afternoon which is super fast for Jakarta traffic condition. Location of the hotel is close to some of the biggest shopping malls in Jakarta, very handy if you need to do shopping and dining out.

Overall, I had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, with Indonesian traditional decoration while keeping the modern atmosphere, making for a relaxing environment. The hotel's location is ideal right in the heart of Jakarta. Closed to MRT station. However, there was one issue shortly after I checked in. About 15 minutes into my stay, while I was trying to take a nap, room service unexpectedly knocked on the door and forced his way in without much notice, offering the room to be refreshed. This disrupted my nap, and I couldn't get back to sleep That being said, the hotel manager was quick to address the situation and personally apologized for the mishap. Despite this incident, I would still recommend the hotel for its quality service and great location. Just a minor hiccup in an otherwise enjoyable stay!

Excellent stay!
We stayed for 3 nights after our trip to Bangkok and Singapore (we stayed at MBS), and we think our stay at Orient was excellent. The service was outstanding. The place is mind-blowing. We went to the Library lounge 2 nights in a row to get pre-dinner drinks and were pleased with the quality of the drink and service. Our daughter really enjoyed the swimming pool at the 5th floor. I've been telling my local Indonesian friends to check this hotel out - for staycation or even just to hang out at the bar/ pool bar.
