Great place to stay!

Great condo overall! Very spacious one bedroom with the best view of the water. Building, pool, and grounds are well maintained. Easy check in/check out process, clean, and plenty of parking. Perfect location that is secluded yet a short drive to downtown. Would love to come back and stay here!

Nice condo that is well taken care, in a great location, and easily accessible via elevator or stairs with the parking lot just a few steps away. The living room, bedroom, and balcony all have a terrific ocean front view. Additionally, Stay Better Vacations kept us informed and were very good to work with.

They've thought of everything -- beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels. I even spotted a pair of bald eagles flying overhead one afternoon while sitting on the balcony! We had everything we needed, and felt as though we really were important. Communication was beyond excellent! They checked on us after we had checked in, and throughout our stay. We had a very relaxing stay in a beautiful area of the island.

Superb Condo
But- it can satisfy others too. if anyone needs a little hustle and bustle beaching for awhile, its is a very scenic <1 hr drive away in Jacksonville Beach... And major large city amenities and the airport are similar distances away or less.

The property was a little dated but it was clean and comfortable and was suitable for our needs. The clothes washer is the loudest machine on earth but at least we had one. Overall, it was a good stay.

The property/condo was amazing and the beach is gorgeous with a fantastic view. I have no issues or complaints. However, the customer service/attitudes at restaurants nearby was absolutely terrible. Not welcoming at all. I suggest cooking at the condo instead of going out.

Ocean in your Backyard
This property is secure with a gate and easy access to elevators to your Condo rental. The view is immediate and gorgeous! This unit has an incredibly comfortable King bed also with the ocean view. The bathroom has been remodeled, it’s still tiny, like all the 1 bed/bath units, but far easier to use the shower. A few more spices and some Saran Wrap and foil would be nice. The Harris Teeter store is about 5 minutes away to pick up what you need for your stay.

This was a wondrful place and experience. The Agency did an excellent job of communicating through out the process. I am Disappointed with VRBO, since the final bill did not match initial quote. Noticed a "VRBO fee" on final bill. Upon calling VRBO was told this is "not us", need to contact the agency. I did contact the agency who explained the fee structure. I understand VRBO charges for finding the place, however not being transparent is poor form. Thank you.

Has room for improvement
First, I always appreciate property owners who will rent out their dwellings for others to enjoy. We have relied on VRBO much more than hotels for more than 12 years. This is our go-to site to help make for an incredible getaway. This property does have wonderful ocean views. However, we believe the owners could enhance the experience with a few upgrades. First, the view is primarily from the porch. In our case, there were only two of four chairs that were not broken. A new, more comfortable porch/table set would enhance your visitor experience, as the porch is the place to be when in this condo. If it's raining and one must be inside, then a larger TV would be great. What is now in the unit is a 28 monitor. Additionally, the sofas could benefit from some steam cleaning. One of the chairs shown next to your large windows in the living room has a broken arm. We washed the two provided bath towels in the unit. The dryer required several hours to dry these. We checked the lint filter, and it was fine, so you may wish to check on this. Overall, the property is very clean. The exterior of the buildings are well maintained and the units are quiet. We never heard any traffic in the hallway outside of the unit. The location is good, and we shopped exclusively at the nearby Harris Teeter for all food needs. We did not eat out, as locals on the beach told us to avoid eating out in local restaurants because they opened too early and have had COVID complications. We rented beach chairs and umbrellas from Riptide. The key pick up and drop off went very well at Amelia Rentals. Again, we thank you for providing your property for rental. It offers wonderful views but could be updated for enhanced comfort.

Location supreme. Most significant reason for the pick was the ocean view. Gorgeous view from the balcony, but living room windows not so much. The seals on the windows were compromised and there was condensation blocking the view. Other challenge - kitchen was equipped - but from odds and ends. At this price point - expectation that these two items would not be of issue. Rental company excellent!
