My husband, son, and I stayed here, and we’ve always had great experiences with VRBO. However, for this particular stay, the communication with the property manager was poor. I had to reach out twice to get the check-in directions and code for the door. When we checked in, the house thermostat was set to 74 and we couldn’t turn it any lower than 72. When I reached out to the property manager about being hot natured and wanting the ability to turn the thermostat below 72, I was told that it was reading cool early in the morning which was true. But as the day went on, the house heated up again and went back up to 72. It was just annoying that we couldn’t adjust it below that 72 degrees even when we were feeling hot and wanted it to be cooler. I texted 4 times and called and left a voicemail and finally someone came and altered the settings after we had left for a family dinner. Also, there’s no remote that works for the master bedroom tv, and that was never resolved. We were told pool maintenance happens on Wednesdays, but randomly on Thursday the pool tech showed up and started to clean the pool which caught us off guard because we weren’t expecting him. It’s a gorgeous home, but I feel that it might be overpriced considering one couldn’t adjust the thermostat themselves and things like the tv were not working. If the communication is fixed, then I think it would be worth the price we paid.
