Relaxing Condo Steps from Pool and 5-Minute Walk to Ocean!

Recently updated 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo in the Beach Wood complex on the grounds of the Omni Amelia Island Resort on the south end of Amelia Island. This first-floor unit offers the ideal location - steps to the peaceful complex pool and just across the street from beach access! It's close to everything but still serene and private!

This 1210 sq. ft. condo boasts an open floor plan with natural light, an updated kitchen with subway tile walls, new flooring throughout, and beautiful furnishings. Enjoy relaxing on the patio that overlooks the pool and offers great natural views, or share a meal around the circular dining table positioned under a classic chandelier.

The main living area offers comfortable seating and a new flat screen TV. The kitchen is completely stocked with everything guests need for meal preparation. It also features new appliances, including the refrigerator and dishwasher.

The main bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen TV, and attached private bathroom that has been renovated. The guest bedroom offers two twin beds, a cozy reading chair, and its own updated bath. All fresh bed linens are provided for guests, along with bath and beach towels.

Enjoy the biking/walking trails on the resort, great spa, shops, and restaurants, or many of the other activities. Venture to the charming Historic Downtown of Fernandina Beach (about a 20-minute drive north) and feast on the eclectic dining and varied shopping options.

Golf is available at many great courses in the area, with the new Little Sandy short course being a 3-minute walk away on the resort. Bike and golf cart rentals are also available nearby - please inquire for additional information.

Please be advised that this property is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort (formerly known as the Amelia Island Plantation) and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities.” It's important to note that there is restricted access to the main resort pool, fitness center, shuttle service, and Racquet Park to only club members and their guests. We will gladly answer any questions about area activities and our amenities!

This unit was nicely decorated, very clean, and evidently recently updated. Overall, great stay. Very spacious unit in the Beach Wood Complex. Easy ground level (no stairs or waiting on elevator!). Close to the pool and walkable to the beach. Also walkable to the shops on the plantation. Would definitely recommend to others!

This was our first time at Fernandina Beach, and I am so glad I booked this property! It is located inside a gated community surrounding the Omni hotel. <5 minutes walk to the beach. Very quiet and safe. We enjoyed walking on the beach and around the resort property which also offers a golf course, restaurants and shopping. The condo was clean, stylish amd well-stocked. We’ll come back!

Thanksgiving Holiday
The condo met our criteria of being self-contained in low-rise building and offering nearby golf and beach access with temperature of 70+. Many detailed and recent positive evaluations were on the mark. The online description was accurate if not understated. The unit was perfectly furnished, comfortable and quiet and everything in good working order. In addition, an array of basic household supplies was provided, as well as some beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, and board games. Oak Marsh golf and the Omni's poolside cafe were popular, and from the beach we were able to observe a night rocket launch from Cape Kennedy. All good!

Beachwood Stay
A very nice and well equipped unit with good access to the beach. Unfortunately, there was a light burned out in the master bathroom rendering it dark and unusable. Additionally, the shower curtain kept falling down from its mounting. We called repeatedly but no one responded to the problem. Additionally, the swimming pool was closed almost the entire week for uncertain reasons.

Perfect beach getaway
I can't say enough nice things about this property. We loved the shady, gorgeous tree lined property of the condo and how so much natural beauty had been reserved around the resort. The pool was perfect and we were often the only family swimming. It was only a short walk to the beautiful beach, so we stayed busy between the ocean and the pool. The condo itself was well maintained, cutely decorated and the master bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and we had all we needed to cook for ourselves. We kept saying we were ready to move in! Side note: we were nervous to travel during the pandemic but felt this was the perfect place to go to continue social distancing. Everywhere we went, we could keep a safe distance from others and there were great local takeout options. They advertised a sound sanitation policy and reserved at least 18-24 hours between guest check-ins. Highly recommend for a pandemic getaway!
